This was our 34 wedding anniversary when I booked i requested a seat in the back as I knew if would be much quieter upon arrival the Host told us the back was for parties only and set us up front very loud and not what we wanted .
I had high hopes for this restaurant, especially after waiting several months for a reservation that worked with my schedule. Unfortunately, the experience just wasn't my cup of tea. The space itself is small and quaint , which I typically love , but the initial welcome was underwhelming. When we walked in, we weren't greeted right away. Despite being only a few feet from the bar where staff were chatting, no one acknowledged us until after we stood there for a bit....
Absolutely delicious dinner with unique preparation of the entrees we ordered. They carry everything to the next level with creativity and yumminess. Our waitress, Katie, provided us with the dipping sauce recipe for the southern spring rolls per the chef. We were quite surprised that she made that extra effort. Thank you! This was our first visit and we drove an hour to get there. Will definitely be back. So good!
