The Old Fourth Street Filling Station

Super friendly staff, great food and a very relaxing atmosphere! We had a little issue with an OLD coupon but the manager was so polite and kind-he explained everything and still gave us a discount. No raised voices or unkind words were used at all. Just professional people doing a great job! We had a wonderful evening for my birthday! Thank you all so much! We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The food is great and the outdoor dining is beautiful and charming. It's hard to believe you're still in the city. Additionally, the service is excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Five of us ate here after attending the Van Gogh exhibit. While the food was good I was shocked when bill came. My granddaughter asked for ranch dressing for her chicken tenders and we asked for more bread for our crab dip appetizer. They charged us .25 for the ranch and 3.00 for bread. Our bill was over $150.00 and you nickeled and dimed us for a small cup of ranch and a few slices of baguette bread.

Dining room too crowded with tables. Guest nor staff can move around. Overheard everyones conversation. Not a relaxing atmosphere. Crab dip with crostini very good along with calamari. Ribeye good. Portion size good.

It was a hot afternoon but still enjoyable for outside dining. Food was great as usual, so was the service.

We've been to this restaurant several times over the years we've been in Winston. The food has been consistently excellent. They have the best shrimp and grits, and the breakfast bowl was outstanding. In a time when other restaurants are cutting their potion sizes, 4th Street Filling station has not. Robert, our server, was so attentive, although he had several larger groups to serve.

We had a party of 6. Requested to be moved to a different table when we were being seated and were immediately accommodated. We had flawless service and phenomenal food that was beautifully presented. The air conditioning seemed to be not working, but fans were set up, and we were very comfortable. An all-around perfect dining experience. Thank you!

The Filling Station is a great spot to eat, especially for brunch! The covered patio is delightful during all types of weather and the food is delicious. Our service was impeccable this past experience, as usual, and we will continue to be repeat customers!

The service was good, our server was attentive. The food was not the greatest. My son got the seafood pasta, swimming in broth :( My daughter had the vegetable pasta and it was very bland. I probably won't be back. This was my second time here; really wanted to like it as I think it's a cute spot, but the food both times wasn't pleasing my palette.

Awesome food and the most amazing staff, especially Zaire. She's such a detailed waitress and we appreciated her.

1/2 price wine night but many labels not included.. Autumn Salad was very good but the turkey bacon Gouda wrap was disappointing...too dry. Enjoyed the evening w/friends outside but there was a birthday group adjacent that was noisy.
