The Tavern was a really neat experience. The wait was a little long, but the food was absolutely well worth it. To start, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very authentic and fun. It was lit with candlelight, there were fiddlers moving about the different dining rooms, and the tables and dining settings appear as if to be from that era. We love this restaurant, but it can get a little loud if you're sitting in the room with a group of people who like to drink and laugh really loud. Otherwise it's perfect!!
I was having a very poor experience from the 2 hr wait and then a couple run ins but the manager Rick Took care of all our needs. We finally got seated and we enjoyed our first experience at the best restaurant in Winston Salem. The food is amazing. Thank you Rick for correcting my visit the day after Thanksgiving. You guys rock.
