“I love Sundays and have had consistently good drinks here. Parking can be stressful--but, seriously, if you have a lock, then biking here is the way to go. The view is excellent, it has a surprising amount of seating, and with some decent headphones, I've found it to be a good spot to get some work done.“

“We love the Port City Java location on Market Street. We are not locals, but you can tell that many of the AM customers are as the staff was greeting them by name. We had tea, coffee, and muffins. There is an ample selection of teas, coffees, muffins, and breads. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff is super friendly. Free refills is just an added bonus!“

“I really enjoy the people and the overall atmosphere here. Came to Grinders quite often when I first moved back to Wilmington. However, Grinders has always been on the high end for prices. Just got my first Dirty Chai over 8 dollars in Wilmington! I didn’t mind that it was made iced instead of hot as I requested but the prices are pretty ridiculous for the area. Go to Bespoke or Casablanca, get the same ambience and mucchhh more affordable coffee in my opinion!“

My coffee is always perfect, and I'm always helped with a smile and pleasant conversation. Which, admittedly, can be difficult with me because I have what some might call RBF. “The cafe is part of the art museum and what a treat it was for our visit. There was a large party of lovely ladies speaking French, a smattering of children visiting with their mothers, and a few other visitors such as ourselves enjoying the lovely fall Wilmington weather and the lunch fare available. Every time I go there, I don't feel like a stranger. The coffee and food is delicious and fairly priced. The wait is typically a couple minutes but may be longer depending on the time of day. But that's only because they make everybody's order with so much care, even under rush hour pressure. Best local coffee shop in town!“
