“Our group of five all thoroughly enjoyed our Pride Dairy ice cream. A friend from New York had recommended it, and now this Colorado girl recommends it. They didn't have all flavors since they are in the middle of a move, but there was enough to give us all plenty of options. I especially liked the chokecherry ice cream, but my husband's juneberry ice cream was refreshingly good, too. The scoops were large for the price.”
“Grew up going to the Hacienda with my family. Loved it then and still love it now. Excellent local atmosphere and food. Highly recommend the ribs!Kid-friendliness: They are great to my kids. Great place for family celebrations and gatherings.”
“Stopped in to just get my boyfriend a sandwich from here he’s been wanting to try, ended up talking to the owner and having her make me her order she usually makes herself and teaching me about its history along the way and it ended up being delicious!!! Good hoagies, great atmosphere and great service! ❤️”
“Fun place for entertainment. I have never thrown axe before. This place is so fun. The staff is very professional. polite and super friendly. It's a great place for friend/family gathering”
“in live with this place crumbl is literally the love my my life!!! if i could i totally would marry there cookies!!! and the fact how you can try new flavors every week is such a good idea that they made up anyways this place is a 10/10 for sure anyday everyday”
“I come here for the coffee…and the huge windows…and the refills on coffee…and the play area for young kids. It is a little coffee shop “get away” in Minot. Relaxing, beautiful and great coffee.”
“The only reason for four stars is the Monte Cristo sandwich was too wwell-fried, making it problematic to eat. The corned beef spuds were incredible, and the corned beef was phenomenal. It comes with four pieces, not two, but we got too excited and just dove in. The service was excellent!”
“The vibe is more simple takeout, but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to recommending what would be serve you on their menu on what day and time.Vegetarian options: Smoothies and acai bowls can easily be made with these options in mind as they use multiple plant based "milks".Parking: Park in front of the businessWheelchair accessibility: No stairs, but I don't recall if there was a button to help hold the door, although I assume ? someone would be willing to run and grab it if need be♡”
“Absolutely the BEST. When I first moved to Minot last summer 2023, I looked for a great place to eat being a foodie for Japanese noodle dishes. Not having much hope, I found OISHII Ramen! If you love or have an interest in Ramen food, I highly recommend this place. You can put together your own Ramen dish with different broths, noodles, meat and veggies. Highly recommended! Reasonable prices. Diverse selection of food.”
“This place has such a cool vibe and is in a perfect downtown spot! Their bourbon bacon deviled eggs were AMAZING!!! French dip sandwich was great! Drinks were also fabulous!”
“Love this amazing place. Service is always fast and friendly. Food is tasty, and it's a cute small eatery that is a great location to pop in for lunch or dinner.Pictured is #4 Cashew Chicken and #8 Basil Chicken”
“I loved Atypical Brewery while visiting Minot! During my week here, I visited twice and had a great time both visits! The little cottage it is located in is adorable, and is the coolest setting! The bartenders are all very friendly, as well as everyone around the bar when I was there. I had a great time meeting different people there, and they remembered me from my first visit! They were also very helpful in giving me some food recommendations around town. All of the beers I tried were excellent, and I especially enjoyed the London fog one. It was unique and had a great taste. The prices were also great for a quality, locally made beer, and I appreciated the 5oz option so that I was able to try a few different kinds. I am just disappointed that Atypical isn't closer to home! I'm hoping to visit Minot again just so I can go back!”
“Always exceptional service. The gentleman who took our drive-thru order asked if we were military when we were at the payment window. I appreciated that he was looking out for us to get the best deal.”
“When they say Charlie's is the best in town --- they aren't exaggerating. Small town vibes and a lot of happy energy here! Their breakfast is always my go-to.”
“We stopped in Minot North Dakota Olive Garden and had a delightful time and dinner was delicious and the waitress Shay was the best waitress ever. She made our night. From Idaho passing by.”
“The food was good! Chips were very very lightly salted (but I've definitely had them over-salted on previous visits). Chicken bacon ranch was delicious! Beer cheese was heavier on the beer flavor than expected which was nice!”
“I liked it a lot, I really want to try billiards again, kinda impressed Minot even has a billiard table, I haven't played since being a member of the Moose Lodge, but I digress, I'll definitely be back.”
“Everyone who works there is always friendly. They do a great job getting the order right and ready fast. The pizza is always delicious!Dietary restrictions: They offer a variety of food options to meet the needs of anyone.Kid-friendliness: A relaxed atmosphere that is welcoming to families.”
“Clean, friendly, and delicious. The oolong tea was premiere.Vegetarian options: Nothing on the menu has plain vegetarian, but everything on the menu would be good without its protein”
“I'm a member of two different groups that gather here in their "back room" for meetings on a regular basis. The service has always been top notch & the food delicious. There is a large television mounted on the wall that can be used for presentations and an easel with whiteboard. I highly recommend Badlands as a place to host your business or social group meetings!”
“Excellent chai latte.Just stopped back today for pizza and pup cups, because my neighbor Taylor, who happens to work here & loves my pups, is always raving about it...she was right...it is amazing, had the Tuscan with jalapenos and the Jalapeno, and a mango drink and monster cookie...and of course great conversation and service, Taylor is very informative.”
“Went there with a party of 6 plus 2 young kids. Atmosphere is fun and interesting. Sushi was delicious, but a little pricey. The California Roll was the best bang for your buck. Recommend the Siam Tender Spicy. Only complaint on the dish was that the chicken wasn't crispy enough. Big portions and good price for entres. Service was quick. Since going there in the past they have cust the resteraunt seating so it fits the store a bit better.Kid-friendliness: Room for high chair and car seat”
“Husband's favorite pizza place. Always clean, friendly helpful staff.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free optionsGluten-free optionsVegetarian optionsParking: Parking sucks, try to get there outside of peak hours.Kid-friendliness: Places to sit, friendly patient staff.”
“Cute bar with great staff, you can choose the big bars but for me the level of local chatter is so much better than that of the drunk college students, if you're like me and can go with out 59 people in one small area thus is the go to place not to mention they don't try to scam you for your drinks definitely recommended 10/10”
“Awesome atmosphere, good prices on beverages and some good pizza. The people are the best part. They have designated evenings for bingo and trivia.Music is not too loud and you can have a conversation without yelling to the individual next to you.”
“The firehouse subs team assisted us with over 600 box lunches for a wing-wide resiliency event out on the base last week, and from pick up to food quality and everything in between the experience was nothing short of excellent! I can’t recommend this team enough, and we are grateful for the continued partnership that we have with them and those who serve at Minot Air Force Base.”
“As a non-local, I was drawn to Bone’s BBQ Smokehouse & Grill by the buzz of recommendations. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat.1. Jalapeño Poppers: A Spicy RevelationThe jalapeño poppers were nothing short of divine. Smoked to perfection with a burst of creamy, spicy goodness inside. They set the bar high for the rest of the meal.2. A Symphony of FlavorsI decided to sample a little bit of everything, and boy, was that a wise choice! The menu at Bone’s offers a tantalizing array of smoked sausages, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and much more. Each bite was a flavor explosion—a harmonious blend of smokiness, tenderness, and love.3. Bone’s Amber Ale: A Liquid HugThe Bone’s Amber Ale deserves a standing ovation. It’s like a warm hug in a glass—a rich, malty brew that complements the barbecue perfectly. Whether you’re a beer aficionado or a casual sipper, this one’s a winner.4. Stellar ServiceKudos to my bartender, Jamie! His attentive service and conversation elevated the entire experience. And let’s not forget my chat with GM Christie—a delightful conversation that made me feel like a valued guest.5. The Verdict: UnforgettableIn summary, Bone’s BBQ Smokehouse & Grill is more than a restaurant; it’s an experience. The aroma of wood smoke, the friendly chatter, and the soul-satisfying food—it all adds up to one of the best meals I’ve ever had.? “Love the food. Always consistent and willing to do my own version of a patty melt. They didn't complain and got it right the first time. Nothing fancy, just good ol' plain ol' food!!”
“Ordering is weird here and if you are new it is t really clear how to order. The food was great, the service was fast and the prices not bad compared to other restaurants. But still higher than my budget allows to eat out much these days.”
