El Agave Mexican Restaurant Reviews
The place is nice/clean but they had outside doors to the patio propped open and there were so many insects inside because of this, which killed the ambiance. I was shooing flies during my meal.
The food was very bland and had a mild grease taste. My chicken looked boiled and has no visible seasoning. The rice and beans both had an extremely flat flavor profile.
When we asked for a bottle of Cholula we were brought a bowl of some very hot sauce and charged $3.50 for it!...read full review
Great food and the people that work there are very nice
Salsa was perfect, a bit spicy but it was perfect. Also I don’t like chunky salsa but the only chunks In this was onion which I love!
I’d been craving roast beef lately and the birra tacos were perfect for satisfying that craving. 🤤
And the agave platter/ chicken in the taquitos were perfect! Queso was delicious, quesadillas was delicious. 10/10 highly recommend.

El Agave Mexican Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a bright and casual atmosphere. The patio is a charming spot to enjoy a meal, and the warm and fresh chips with an amazing dip are a highlight. The quality of the food is outstanding, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors that leave guests very satisfied. The service stands out as well; the staff is friendly, attentive, and patient, even with large families. Many guests have praised the generous portions, which really fill you up, making it a great choice for hearty, authentic dishes. The chicken soup is a standout dish, and the restaurant offers popular items like the Chori Pollo, Steak Agave Burrito, and kids' soft shell tacos, with one guest noting that the tortillas were the "best she ever had." The Margarita Tower has also received praise for its deliciousness. While the atmosphere is generally lively, some guests mentioned that the music can be too loud at times, making conversation difficult. A few diners felt a bit rushed, perhaps due to staff eager to finish their shifts, but overall, the food and service are excellent. El Agave remains a reliable option for quality Mexican food, with many looking forward to trying other menu items.
