Inside play some pool, darts, or even small talk with the locals and enjoy the time while drinking!!! Shout out to Papa Chuck and Tiff!!!“

“My husband and I went to CB for a concert and I searched for a fun, cute, local place to eat. So glad I found the Porch! We had DELICIOUS food and loved the atmosphere. I love all things vintage so I especially enjoyed that each table had different salt and pepper shakers, most of which were true vintage. The plates our meals came on reminded me of dinner at my great grandma’s house.. which is a good thing!…and I noticed everyone had different plates, too. So fun! Absolutely love a good down-home feeling place. 10/10 will return!“

I don't think they never placed the order because they couldn't even find my salad. And I walked out hungry. Not even busy at lunch time. “Came into town for the Omaha Zoo and looked up places with karaoke and Kikkers popped up! Darts boards, Touchtunes (before karaoke), pool tables and cheap drinks and slot machines! What more do you need? Definitely will be back! Oh and we had the chicken tenders and house made chips and both were SO good!“

“my daughter and I went to barleys yesterday for lunch. loved that it was handicap accessible without any steps. We sat towards the back of the reatraunt and was quickly serviced by a waitress to get our drink orders and given menus. I ordered the patty melt and my daughter ordered a Canadian pizza. both were really good. the only thing we wished were different and I say we because she stole a lot of my fries lol were the fries needed seasoned with something. we had to add salt. and the patty melt sandwich could've used an added sauce like Dorothy lynch or something. it wasn't dry just needed something else to add flavor. otherwise it was really good. will definitely be back.“

This place is child friendly, dog friendly, the people are all so friendly. We truly could not have asked for a better location to have our girls first party! “The thin blonde bartender that works there on Thursday nights is low-key incredibly gorgeous. I just stared at her all night long and had a great time doing so 🫣. “It’s nice to have a store like Hy-Vee in little old Plattsmouth. Meat and deli counter, prepared foods, large produce department. My only and constant complaint is the bagging needs improvement. Squashing bread, bagging hot food with frozen, overly heavy bags. I actually place all my frozen and refrigerated foods on the belt first then the non refrigerated items then hot food last. Still the frozen items are bagged with non refrigerated items. I always have to tell the checker to bag the bread separately otherwise it will be squashed with a heavy item in the bag. I shop many grocery stores in the Omaha area since I work there and by far the Plattsmouth Hy-Vee has the worst baggers. I would like to bag my own groceries if they would let me or maybe management could give the employees a class on proper bagging.“

“Ate at HyVee Restaurant in Council Bluffs today the Tenderloin was huge ,cheap and so good one of the best I have had. The burger was delicious $8.55 for the Tenderloin Meal , $10 for the Burger. And there’s a Bar , Service was excellent my second time around wish I would have got her name, the first cashier was rude when asked about the meal or anything else she would remark you want it yes or no ! cash or card yes or no! Management should get rid of this cashier!“

She definitely deserves a raise and a promotion. She is friendly and overall an absolute sweetheart! She gave me a big hug when I came in.
