“We found this place on google. Got to say it's one of the best breakfast places I've been to in awhile. I ordered biscuits and gravy with ham and cheese hash browns and my wife ordered the breakfast burrito. It was more than we could eat and it was made with love!!“

“Well, here it is, Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Our prayer group from Immanuel Lutheran Church here in Bellevue decided to hold our weekly prayer group at the Lighthouse Cafe today. The food was amazing and plentiful, the surroundings were very accommodating to our little prayer group, and the staff was even better than the food, if that is even possible. It was so nice to be able to support this cafe and their mission. We decided that we will do this on a regular time frame, not every week but maybe monthly as we all had such a nice time. Keep up the great work, and I hope all your staff enjoyed the "LiL Jesus" novelty cards I left for them.“

“We had the most fantastic experience hosting our baby shower here! The price point for the venue, bartender, and drink options were all extremely fair and made it affordable for us to have an intimate event in a beautiful space. I’m so glad I got an excuse to host an event there so I could see it, it was just absolutely stunning inside. All of the cider we tried were delicious - a lot of flavor but not too sweet. Brooklyn was the event manager who I spoke with throughout the process of booking the venue and also ended up being our bartender (who made great cocktails), busser, and got everything set up and helped us clean up after. This was the perfect event space!“

“We had an extended family celebration in the party room with 22 people and had a great experience. The room was a great size and we were really comfortable in there. The service was top notch. The manager was great to work with and I really am glad I chose Charleston’s. Our food was delicious. Highly recommend the shrimp cargot, the Caesar salad, and the special filet.“

“This time around wasn't as good as in the past. My broccoli beef was okay. Nothing special really. Portion is pretty generous. Egg rolls say 4, but there were 2 big ones cut in half. Maybe it said serves 4???? But for $9 you would almost expect 4. Place is pricey. For two meals, an order of egg rolls, egg drop soup bowl (serves 4 it says), a sprite, and tea it was over $80.“

“I moved to Omaha around 10 years ago now and have been to Mamas a few times. This is great Nebraska style pizza and the flavor variety is impressive. Try the Mac and cheese pizza! They also have great waffle fries if that is your thing. Takeout during weekends can get a bit busy so always call ahead an hour or so!“

Got a Detroit style (I’m from Detroit - it was worthy). Big place but fills up quick for dinner. “Issis was the best waitress I have ever had. It can be so stressful going out to eat with a toddler and Issis made our entire dinner so seamless and was so kind. She was so sweet with our toddler and brought her snacks throughout the dinner -- mandarin oranges and a slice of pizza while we waited for our food to come out -- free of charge. She was just an angel and made our whole day! The pizza we ordered was delicious and cooked to perfection, per usual. We will be back. Thank you, Issis!!!“

“WheatFields is a really excellent spot with some standout items, especially if you’ve got a sweet tooth. Overall, we had a great meal, and I’d definitely come back.

I ordered Ron’s Chicken & Rhubarb Pie for $16.99; you get three pieces of honey-fried chicken (drumstick, thigh, and breast); mashed potatoes with gravy, a buttered bun, and a generous slice of rhubarb pie. The fried chicken was excellent, and the honey added a nice touch. The mashed potatoes were okay but tasted like they were instant, and the roll could’ve been just a bit bigger. That said, the rhubarb pie absolutely stole the show—perfectly balanced, not bitter at all, and honestly the best rhubarb pie I’ve had.

My wife Laura had the Frenchman’s Quiche Combo for $17.99, which includes a slice of deep-dish Quiche Lorraine with hollandaise, French onion soup, and a warm croissant with grape jelly. The quiche was fluffy with a flaky crust, and the bacon and sauce really brought it together. The French onion soup was outstanding—packed with onions and rye croutons, easily one of the best we've had outside of New Orleans. The croissant was spot-on as well.

The restaurant itself was clean, and the bakery area smelled incredible—loaded with pastries and cakes that clearly get a lot of care and attention. The bathrooms were passable, though there was a slight unpleasant odor in the men’s room. Service was fine—our waitress was polite and efficient, just a bit on autopilot.

Pricing for the restaurant felt fair for what you get, though the bakery items leaned a little pricey. Still, between the quality of the food—especially the baked goods—and the overall experience, this is a great place to eat in Omaha.“
