Terrible food, not sure how this place stays in business. I did take out and got the General Tso chicken and every piece was very hard and the majority of it was just breading. I also got the lo mein in which it tasted like it had been reheated a few days

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. The food was very good. Portion sizes were just about right. Prices are pretty decent. The wait was a little long which I did not mind for this trip but could be problematic if you were in a hurry. I would recommend and would definitely be back again.

I highly recommend this restaurant! We had the combination fried rice, cashew chicken, beef and broccoli and hot and sour soup. Everything we ate was perfect!

Very good food. Service is a little slow but that's because of staffing shortages. I had kung pow beef with lo main ,It was awesome. Wife had general tsao chicken with flied lice. She loved it. We had crab rangoon for an appetizer. We will definitely be going back. Just wish they had a buffet so we could try a bit of everything.

I was driving through Blair to get some tools. I saw the Mandarin House.I hadn't been there in every bit of 20 years. I thought,I wonder if it is 1/2 as good as I remember? So I stopped in on my way going back the other way. I walked in, the place didn't have 2 people dining inside, a few people, I assume we're employees.I was a little concerned,am I going to get, hot, fresh food ? I'm the only person ordering food. The nice lady by the cash register says, what can I get you? As she hands me a menu. I asked her,do you have hot tea,she replied, yes.I look at the menu and see my old favorite Mongolian Beef. I ordered it as my main entree. I am hungry (I left that part out in the beginning). I also picked 1/2 an order of crab rangoon, and 1 egg roll.In a pretty quick time, she gets my total and I receive my food to go in a nice cardboard box.My plan was,eat and drive as I'm heading home. In my hungry state of mind I get into my van in the parking lot, I sit and grab the egg roll,oh my goodness,it is fresh and piping hot!! I am surprised!Next, I grabbed a crab rangoon, same thing and she gave me 2 hot n sour sauces. I am in food heaven!!I then opened my steamed rice and the Mongolian beef (if you love onions as much as I do order this). The rice was fluffy and wonderful, then I'd gotten a taste of the piping hot Mongolian beef,oh my goodness all over again ? I'm in the parking lot saying to myself,I have got to stay right here and enjoy this food, I cannot be driving and swerving all over the road.I finished everything.I then took the lid off of the tea that had been brewing, took a sip of it yep,SAME thing! Piping hot and tasty. It was time to get on the road,so I sipped the tea and dessert was a fortune ? cookie.I can't say enough good about this place. I know I will return as soon as I can and I will, sit inside and enjoy the same food all over again.Thank you Mandarin House for the experience i thought was long gone!I will return.Mark Mathews

Came here with a coworker (Fozzy Bear) and the food was really great. Had peanut chicken with rice. The breading on the chicken was crispy and the sauce was good. Fozzy had yum yum chicken and really liked it. The only complaint I had was that the sauce was a bit thin but the flavor was fantastic. I'm going to grab food again there with Piggy tonight and see what she thinks of it! If you like Chinese, it's a great stop and the prices are so good! Yaaaaay!

"generals chicken". So hard and way over cooked. Small portion for the price. Picture is half portion as I was only able to try half as it was soo hard. 0 stars of I could rate it. Stay far away. Crab Rangoon the fried fresh but tasted as if it was in fridge all week, 0 crab inside (imitation or not) could be found. Rice tasted off, like old reheated rice from a few days ago. Never coming back.

First time here, there are many upcharges whereas all other Chinese places what Mandarin upcharges for, are standard. Fried Rice $1.50 extra ( they don't tell you, they just charge it). There are ZERO vegetables included with anything that is breaded or fried. Again, another upcharge ($2.00 for broccoli for the orange chicken). The middle aged woman whom took my order was less than enthused after I stated I was eager to try their food as I was a first time customer. I will not give them my business.

The server was polite and friendly. My only real issue is the amount of time just to get our order placed. They weren't visually super busy so unless they were jammed up by phone orders, which shouldn't supercede a dine-in customer, they need to staff better.
