“such a gem. Our family discovered the Vault on Roadtrippers during our cross country drive. It was exactly the start we needed for the day (after some horrific hotel coffee). Great coffee, cafe au lait and smoothies fueled our family for miles to come. Great atmosphere (and origin story for the owner and the building), and quaint High Street walk to stretch our legs before hitting the road again.”

“We went there after a funeral to celebrate life. We had a very large group. The prices are great! The patient gals behind the bar were fantastic. We had a wonderful time sharing stories with family and friends... pretty much took over the place. We will stop again when in town the next time!”

“During our visit to the Danish Bakery we tried the oinker (with jalapenos added), grilled cheese and a BLT. All 3 sandwiches were fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is casual and laid back as is the service. I realize some people feel a need to be doted on but I personally prefer having an opportunity to enjoy my meal and visit so this was perfect in my opinion. Also, our orders were served quickly. Staff were friendly. The small dining area was clean, the menu straight forward and accurately descriptive. We enjoyed our trip to the Danish Bakery and look forward to going again.”

“It's a very nice place along hwy 30. The owner is very kind. Clean place. I've had the Bacon, egg, cheese on toasted bread. It was delicious and I will buy it again. She also has gas and is competitive with Pump and Pantries and Casey's.”

“Great service - very friendly and follow up without being intrusive. Steaks are better than top steakhouses. Perfectly cooked as ordered and seasoned just right (meaning not too much). My wife loves the smothered chicken. Drinks are very well made. This is as good - or better - as Ruths Chris or Mortons at a fraction of the price.”
