“I was looking for a place off the beaten path and had this on my radar. I had a great meal with my wife. Love the local vibe and great food. Price was not to be beat. I'd recommend for anyone looking to get out of Omaha for a fun adventure.“

“Being diabetic I ordered a hamburger and a salad, water. after waiting about 5 plus minutes. After 45 minutes I received no salad or the hamburger. I don't think they never placed the order because they couldn't even find my salad. And I walked out hungry. Not even busy at lunch time. The time before I was charged about double for this same meal. I should have learned my lesson . 😪“

“The food at The Island is so good! If you’ve been the past, just know that there are new owners and everything is better! The owners are friendly and welcoming. Staff is friendly. My favorites on the menu are - crab rangoon - made in house. Real crab. The best you’ll ever have. Club sandwich - we went on a club sandwich hunt and this is one of the best in town. Cuban - my husbands favorite Buffalo chicken mac - yum! Karaoke on Saturdays is always a fun crowd Free live music on Fridays“

“The service was outstanding. We went during a slower time of the afternoon. Food was hot and served promptly. I had the Italian meatball sandwich and onion rings.
The sandwich was okay for what tasted like canned sauce and a generic cheese, nothing special. Kind of a smaller portion. The toasted bun was a nice touch. The onion rings were huge and made the almost hotdog bun sized sandwich look smaller than it was.
Typical concrete, industrial atmosphere. Lots of TV's but the sun was bright enough not to see them well from facing east in the afternoon.
I'm not a huge fan of chain food but, I wasn't hungry when I left. Prices were as expected. A decent place, I guess.“

Bands are in the back room with a separate bar and draw a nice crowd. “this was our first time visiting here and I have to say they have absolutely the best wings I have ever had and before anyone starts claiming this place or that place has the best I know everyone has their own opinion on wings but for me and my family we have eaten wings all over this city and then some WE love these wings and the flavors are amazing. Now as for the service our waitress Kristee G was absolutely 100 percent knowledgeable about the menu and specials ..she was very pleasant and answered every question we had perfectly. I wanted to order the Buffalo chicken pizza to go but I really wasn't sure I needed a full large and let's just say she figured it out for me as well as the extra 24 wings I just had to have to go as well . This place was very clean and inviting it wasn't loud and obnoxious like most sports bars can be ..over all we give this place a 10 out of 10 ..and our waitress and staff a 10 out of 10. thank you Hurrdats we will be back and please do not get rid of Saturday and Sunday wings days .....“
