Village Inn Reviews
Excellent food and superb service!!!
As an over the road trucker, it can be tough to find a place with good food and friendly service, but Village Inn in Fremont, Nebraska really delivered. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made me feel right at home after a long day on the road. The food was fresh, tasty, and exactly what I was hoping for. It’s always a relief to find a restaurant that serves a good meal and treats travelers well. I’ll definitely be stopping by again the next time I’m passing...read full review

Village Inn offers a mixed dining experience. While the food is generally good, some customers are put off by the higher prices and changes in menu items. The service can be hit or miss, with some servers being overwhelmed but getting orders right. There are concerns raised about cleanliness and hygiene, with reports of cockroaches in the kitchen and issues with dishwashing practices. Some employees have also reported negative experiences, with claims of being pressured to work while sick. Despite these issues, the restaurant's owner seems to be well-intentioned. Customers are advised to be cautious when dining at Village Inn and to be aware of the potential drawbacks in terms of cleanliness and staff treatment. However, recent reviews highlight positive experiences, especially with friendly and attentive staff like Devan and Kyle, who made guests feel welcomed and cared for. The remodeled place has a clean atmosphere, and the food is described as amazing and tasty, especially breakfast foods and pie. Kid-friendly amenities such as crayons and coloring pages are available, and the restaurant offers good portion sizes for children. Despite some ongoing concerns, many visitors plan to return, praising the quality of the food and the friendly service. Parking is available but not ideal, though there are plenty of spots. Overall, Village Inn remains a popular spot for breakfast and comfort food, with a welcoming atmosphere when staff are attentive.
