“Never been here, stopped in for lunch. We each had the buffet. VERY WELL stocked salad bar, fresh fruit, and tomatoes bisque soup. Main buffet was everything you would need to make your own club sandwich, beef tips with potatoes, and chicken bacon ranch over pasta. Scotch-a-roos to finish it off. With top notch service!! All for $13.99. Well definitely be back. ?“

“We always try and make Thunderhead a dinner destination whenever we are in town. We get the 12” Thunder-pie pizza and a pretzel appetizer and it feeds both of us with usually a slice or two leftover. And you can’t go wrong with the Thunder Punch drink!“

“This little restaurant is a hidden gem in Kearney. Chef Pat takes time to create each dish but it’s definitely worth the wait for quality ‘made with love’ Thai food.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free entrees upon request. Like chicken in the mud and drunken noodles.“

“We were here once but had to wait for 45 minutes, so we decided to come back another time. Today, we booked the appointment at 6 pm, just to be sure to get the seat. The appetizer's pork belly bite was the sweetest but delicious. We ordered sirloin steak, chicken bacon ranch quesadilla, and skewers. All of then were yummy.“

“Wonderful food at a great price. Got seated right away for two people. I compare this place to a Texas Roadhouse/ Lone Star Steakhose but a much better hometown atmosphere. Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the main course....even the fresh bread they brought out with our drinks was piping hot and begging to be eaten!! Definitely a must stop if you're in the area!!!“

“Just two of us 4/20/24. Ordered the crab rangoons to start and they were piping hot and full of filling. We ordered the house fried rice that would’ve been enough to fill us both up. The rice was fantastic. I’d literally eat it everyday. We also ordered the papi roll. It made me sit back in my chair, it was so good. The server was great. Food was great. I can’t say enough good things about our meal.“

“Really nice place to stop for a great meal while traveling. We stopped here for dinner while driving cross country. They have unlimited sides which is cool. You can taste the honey in their butter. The peach cobbler is amazing! They also give you hot wet towels to wipe off your sticky fingers after your meal.“

“I've gone here two nights in a row and have loved it greatly each time. I'm a pretty big spice head so I've got the Spicy Tonkotsu and the Alarm Ramen so far. Both were great but I honestly preferred the spicy tonkotsu much more. I got them both with pork belly, and each time it was cooked to absolute perfection. The first time I also got a side of snow crab and honestly, it's the best snow crab I've had in the entire town, only meeting on par with a Cajun seafood truck that came through Kearney a while ago.Everything was absolutely flavorful, and they also have a chilli shaker as well to add even more flavor. The crab rangoon's were hands down the best that I've had in town as well. Everywhere else only really seems to use 99% cream cheese but these guys just smack everyone to the curb. Just fantastic. The place has had a good amount of people in it, and the only downfall that I honestly have for this place is that it was a little warm in there, and I'm honestly worried about how hot it will be for the summer. They're doing everything so right though and are so kind. With time, I'm sure that the establishment will grow and become even better as well.“
