“Absolutely love this place! Cute restaurant with a homey atmosphere. My go-to is the Brisket Pho & Vietnamese eggrolls. If you like spicy, try the chili oil, won’t disappoint! They have a variety of flavors for boba tea which is a plus! The owners are always so friendly and definitely make you feel welcomed.“
“Found this place via TripAdvisor. The moment you walk in it smells delicious!!! The gentleman helping us at the counter was amazing. We thought we would have to eat in the car but he graciously set up a table for us to enjoy our early afternoon pizza. We are so glad we got there when we did because it was a steady stream of folks coming in to pick up pizza, homemade bread and pasta from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. Highly recommend!!“
“Ended up here through a recommendation from a friend. Thanks friend! You were not wrong. Everything we had was spot on. My daughter said it was the best Tika Masala she's ever had... and she's had a lot LOL. The people working - owners or owner's family maybe - were delightful. They even have us some mango and pear custard complementary. Super happy to have made it here. This will definitely be our go to for Indian in Omaha.“
“In omaha, jinya is the only spot with good ramen. The rest are not even close to the standard of Japanese ramen.Hokkaido is good but their taste is not as bold as i expected. It is not bland either. Definitely for someone who like a subtle flavor but not for someone who like strong flavor that hit the tongue.I only tried their garlic tonkotsu and chicken karagge today. Definitely coming back to get a sense of their ramen quality, maybe the other tonkotsu instead. Not really care for the atmosphere and i think its ok. They tried ti make it an anime theme i see . Service wise, people are friendly.“
“Reis’ Bakery offers a taste of fine European baked goods right here in Omaha. Their offerings are of the highest quality and will delight any foodie. The crew at Reis’ goes above and beyond when it comes to service with a smile and lots of heart. Thank you for your wonderful act of kindness.“
“One of our Omaha favorite spots! We love the four course menu but occasionally enjoy the 6 course Chef's tasting menu. I had the olive tamponade and my husband had Maine oysters as part of the $8 anniversary menu. I then had the shrimp risotto, cauliflower soup, scallops and chocolate creme brûlée! My husband had the hot Korean chicken appetizer and chicken breast while having the same soup and dessert as me. Chef Anthony never disappoints! Great dinner with terrific service from James!“
“Great place to reserve for a large group or party! Saro kindly hosted my graduation party and it was the most wonderful experience. The layout is open in such a way that I did not feel like anyone was excluded during the party because we could always have eyes on everyone there. The turnout was quick throughout the entire night for drinks and we never ran out of yummy easily snackable plates. As an added bonus, everything on their menu is gluten free so it was very inclusive to our GF friends & family. They also let me play my own music. 10/10 recommend!Vegetarian options: Multiple menu options availableDietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free“
“Hardy's has vegan options. This is why I am a customer. Their vegan items are quite yummy. I'm giving 5 stars because I like what's vegan, the shop is a nice place to be, and the staff always behaves pleasantly. However, this review will include an important complaint that will hopefully help owners understand the seriousness of VEGANISM to their vegan customers. Whenever I order the vegan burrito in person, I'm always asked by staff if I want sour cream with it, to which I always reply, "no, sour cream isn't vegan." There is, of course, vegan sour cream, and Hardy's doesn't carry any. I ordered doordash, and the sour cream came in the bag. On the app, I didn't have an option to reject the non-vegan topping. To be vegan is to boycott all products that come from animal use.Having a non-vegan item included with a vegan order as default is a display of ignorance. Can I trust that the other things they SAY are vegan actually are? Do not call something 'vegan' on your menu if the whole order is not. Dairy items should never be volunteered to those not asking for it. Cow products are not positive for many reasons: antibiotic resistance, animal exploitation, environmental damage, etc. Consider those who are lactose intolerant. That's an allergy! In addition, it's important to connect with loss of business for limiting the vegan options. You know this to be true already based on the success of the brownie—which is always vegan. Vegans only choose animal-free foods—with no exceptions. If someone says they're vegan but they partake in non-vegan action periodically, they don't understand what the Philosophy of Veganism is. It is not merely a diet, it's an ethical way of living that boycotts all animal use, all the time, as far as possible. Now, pre-vegans DO eat vegan food. For example, I love poppyseed muffins. There are delicious vegan poppyseed muffins I buy at Whole Foods. I wouldn't cheat on my ethical standards just because I want a poppyseed muffin, I'm at Hardy's, and I don't want to make the drive to Whole Foods. I choose the vegan option instead, whatever flavor it may be. Boycotting the use of animals is more important than my taste preference for a POPPYSEED PASTRY, and the vegan option is delicious anyway. In reverse, pre-vegans aren't boycotting items ABSENT of cow's milk, chicken's eggs, honey, and anything else from an animal. Pre-vegans are who mostly buy that vegan brownie, and I doubt the majority of them even notice the LACK OF dairy, honey, and egg in it. I can't even tell a vegan pastry is vegan based on taste alone, because cow's milk and chicken's egg isn't what makes baked goods taste how they do. The plant ingredients bring them to life. If I was lied to, and told something was vegan when it wasn't, how would I know? The flavor profile isn't much different. You can't actually detect those ingredients in baked goods without a superhuman palate. What's the point of making any pastry non-vegan anymore? Animal ingredients are outdated. I also love cinnamon rolls. They are non-vegan most of the week, but on Friday and/or Saturday I can sometimes get a vegan cinnamon roll from Hardy's! Why are they not vegan all week? When desired vegan option is unavailable, vegans will leave and go elsewhere, or make it themselves. Lost business. I've gone in before for coffee and pastry when all vegan options were sold out, so I bought coffee only. If all non-vegan pastries were sold out and a pre-vegan came in for the same purpose, with their coffee they'd get a vegan pastry. No loss. By not making all pastries vegan and having default condiments for everyone be vegan, the result is lost business and waste. Aside from the ethical reasons to be vegan, I also understand that animal foods are detrimental to human health (Book: How Not To Die by Micheal Greger, MD). That cow sour cream went right down my garbage disposal. If y'all made your poppyseed m“
“Attended a presentation meeting in their conference room. Food was good with large portions. Attentive service, but the room got too hot. The regular dining area was the correct temp. Will be back.Update: visited with party of four. Had a reservation so seating and ordering was done quickly. My salad wedge starter was good and all of our entrees were tasty. Good overall visit.“
“We went in a Sunday afternoon and there was only one person working and about fifteen people. She did excellent and got all four of our drinks out in a timely manner. The vibes were excellent and it is very Strong Towns. Definitely recommend checking it out.“
“Another stop on my Omaha tour for my parents and as always, didn't disappoint. The honey lavender cookie with lavender frosting was the group favorite, but we also really enjoyed the oatmeal cookie sandwich and cinnamon sugar donut. Key lime pie bar was a little too sour for us, but everything else was delicious! Bakers immediately greeted us and were very patient while we deliberated what to order“
“We went on Friday, the 22nd of March. We did not have a reservation but it wasn't yet too crowded, so we got right in. Roberto was the person that took care of us. He was great. We had a slight issue with the kitchen and our order and it got delayed. We were enjoying ourselves and having conversation so we didn't mind too much. Roberto was annoyed and he kept stopping by to keep us up to date. It seems that somehow our order was lost or misplaced or something so instead of a 10-15 minute wait, it ended up being almost an hour. Amy, one of the managers, came by and told us she was sorry for what happened and she took care of our entire dinner. That was so wonderful. I am not the type to get upset and we still had a great time. And Roberto got a good tip as he cared and did all he could. My wife got the salmon and I had the special of prime rib. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed it. Can't miss with the new location either. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely go back!“
“Taxis is one of those few places I would say its a "must go". When you see Bar and Grille it isn't what you are truly thinking. When you walk in its very nice, homie, clean, and almost would call it fancy. I had the dijon, garlic shrimp as an appetizer and it was probably the best shrimp I have ever had. I had the French Dip. hands down the BEST French dip in Omaha. The au jus alone is worth the trip but you add on how good the meat was cooked, the mushrooms being tender and the onions being perfectly done I would recommend this to anyone who will listen. To top it off their martini selections are unique but they are also so delicious. Try the Salted nut roll, you wont regret it!“
“Green Bean is delicious! I always get the strawberry banana smoothie, it tastes natural compared to a lot of other places. Here its like the smoothies I make at home and I love how big their large size is, because I usually can finish a smoothie in the car on my way home ? And to top it off they have a rewards program! Def my favorite place in the neighborhood for breakfast.“
“A little disappointing. The server was inattentive, did not refill the drinks, and never asked how the food was. It was an early lunch so the restaurant was not busy. The fresh fish (mahi mahi blackened) was solid. The portion size was a little small for the price. However, the fish was moderately fresh tasting, cooked well, and tasty. The salad that came with the meal was good. Fresh, crisp lettuce with some really zesty, homemade Italian dressing. Overall, I expected much more. It was five star pricing for 4 star food and 2 star service.“
“If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The wonderful staff at Taste of Thailand make this one of my favorite places to eat. They are thoughtful, patient, kind, and efficient. The food is AMAZING! If you call for take out and they dont answer, dont fret... Theyre just working qith leople in the restaurant. Call back again and theyll usually get you taken care of. Closed on Mondays. Give it a try!!“
“I ordered pizza from the 168th street restaurant and was late to pick it up; they remade it without me asking to ensure it would be fresh!! Very kind and friendly staff. Excellent experience every time I visit! Will keep coming back!! Thank you :)“
“A fun, affordable and friendly place to grab a bite. We found their gf pizza to be celiac safe. Spoke with the manager and she was lovely, very caring and understanding as to why we were asking about cross contamination. Will totally eat here again when traveling to Omaha.“
“Finally tried these cookies after having them on my list for a long time. Love the concept- we came after a concert and it was the perfect late night snack. We got 6 cookies: Peanut butter, butterscotch oatmeal. red velvet, pumpkin spice, caramel apples, and confetti (ordered in favorite).“
“What a hidden gem ?, the noodles are just right everytime and they are able to spice to preference with an exactitude that is impressive. The dishes are authentic, nourishing and so tasty. Highly recommended and worth the drive off the interstate (5 mins). Don't sleep on Pla Too! #bestinthemidwest“
“Nothing bundt perfection. These desserts are a great option for truly any occasion. They offer different sizes from the individually portioned bundtinis to the large cakes to share. I am not a huge sweets person by any means but I would never turn down a slice of bundt cake. This is in fact my go to dessert option on my birthday. Vanilla is my personal favorite flavor but all the flavors they offer are genuinely delicious and best of all is the icing on top. I highly recommend Nothing Bundt Cakes.“
“The lady behind the counter was great to deal with, but my wife and I didn't love the pizza. The thin crust was more of a hand tossed or medium thickness but I would not consider it to be thin. We've been trying to get here for a while and ended up being a little disappointed based on the reviews and other things we had heard. Pizza was certainly better than any chain place but not in our top 3 or 4 in the metro area.“
“Great service, amazing food, wonderful staff. I’ve been in here many times and the results are always the same, consistently great food served by amazing people. I bring all my friends here from out of town to get a taste of what living in Bellevue is like. Thanks!“
“Food is good, great menu options and a good section for gluten free and other dietary revelations.Service and staff are attentive and helpful. The vibes are fairly mid, somewhat industrial and simple. Creates the atmosphere of another cookie cutter restaurant in the suburbs but if you're looking for fancier pizza this place is a great option. It's fits well into similar craft pizza places but isn't remarkable enough to drive cross town to visit. If it's close to where you work or live definitely check it out when you're looking for craft pizza.Dietary restrictions: There are multiple options if you're vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerant, or celiac I think this is a great pizza option considering how hard it is to accommodate those.“
“You know the food is going to be incredible when the owner is standing behind the counter when you walk in. Nina was patient and gave me a taste of her two sauces when I was indecisive about which to choose. I went for the fufu and it was everything I imagined. Soft, fluffy and slightly chewy. The spinach sauce was thick and robust, completed with the succulent lamb. 10/10. The high protein steak bowl was the other dish we tried. The steak was tender and flavorous. The peanut sauce is rich and comforting. 10/10. Nina’s flavored lemonades are unique and tasty, as might be expected. I could eat her food every single day. We were so full but couldn’t stop eating. Hopefully the company expands to Lincoln ;) Thank you so much, Nina!!“
“The reserved sign on the table was nice to see. They were ready for us and they selected a good table for us. My husband thought the cheesebread lacked flavor. They forgot the side of cheese for our pizza, but did bring it once we said something. I thought the salad was good and the pizza was great! I would like to return.“
“After being a customer for many years, it's a nice transition to the FTLoF Cafe. They have a nice and inviting atmosphere. If you're a long time customer, they will remember your name. They have six, 4 person tables to sit at now. Enjoy your stay at the cafeParking: It's in a plaza, a plaza that's old. There will be lots of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“This is the only place in Omaha where you can get great drinks AND amazing vegan pastries (vegan hand pies, cake and cookies) any day of the week. The staff is so nice and helpful, and I love that I can stop by to get some goodies from my all-time favorite vegan bakery (Oso Good) and whenever I want.“
“I went there yesterday when we couldn't get into the Taphouse for lunch with a group of colleagues. It was so good I went back today. Very high quality food, and big portions, delicious. My only suggestion is maybe the name/branding isn't great - I work across the street and walked by many times and just thought it was a cafeteria-style place where I was going to get mashed potatoes, green beans, etc. Had no idea is was a quality 'bowl' place! Very clean inside and friendly too; but can't say it has atmosphere though.“
“Nice selection of cookies. You can get two sizes and there are some special cookie sandwiches and decorated cookies too. Sometimes they close early, we got there ten before closing and the door was locked in the past, but we've rolled with it and figured we didn't need a ne that bad. Service is okay. The shop is plain, but functional. Wish there were small bistro tables out front to sit. Price wise they are on the top end, but the big cookies are so big that they're two desserts worth.“
“Absolutely stunned how good my chili cheese was- this was like a proper meal of a dog- like an entree- toasted buns- fire chili- awesome queso— will definitely be back-Very friendly staff and quick service.Update 5/30Well after 19 chili dawgs in 24 days i broke down and tried the mac dawg.Simple put- there is a 4th dimension in our universe- and its flavor- and this man right here has discovered it.“
“Disappointed to find out that they did not have oatmeal raisin cookies available. The owner told me to call ahead next time to check. Really? A bakery that has allowed themselves to run out of product? This is mismanagement 101 and the business suffers along with customers. Take care of your customers or they will migrate to another bakery!“
“Best pizza we’ve had in a long time! The cream cheese red sauce is incredible! So many unusual and yummy pizzas to choose from that it makes it hard to decide! The service was amazing….Kaitlyn made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. More of an order and carry out place, but they have a few tables and a tv if you prefer to stay and eat. They don’t serve drinks, so bring your own if you eat there. Will definitely be back!“
“From the start, my experience was so pleasant. The hostess, I believe her name was Megan, greeted us right away and chatted with us as she took us to our table. The waitress (can’t remember her name) was quick and efficient while making us feel at home. Great food and service. Will dine again!“
“Johnny's is excellent for the state of Nebraska and the filet mignon or prime rib is most probably their best choice on the expansive menu. A great place to go out to a satisfying nice lunch or evening meal as part of a couple as well as a group meal on weekends as well as weekdays. If you try Johnny's cafe once you will return on any special occasion“
“Food was outstanding! The staff recognized our Valentines/anniversary with a glass of champagne. We noticed how the volume level was low - very unusual nowadays which allowed us to have a nice conversation and enjoy our meal. It was a great way to lead into a movie at Film Streams.“
“The salad bar was amazing! You get a large plate, not just some little sized plate like other places. There were so way more options and choices than I would expect from a "deli" salad bar, and so worth the every penny. My salad was massive. Very pleased!“
“Great place next to the stadium. Was there on a not so busy night. Sat at the bar. Clean and open. Not too noisy, but again not super busy night. Had the the fish and chips. Good fries and the crust on the fish was a little soft but good. Needed to soak some of the oil off the bottom but good flavor. Service was attentive. Would like to try some other menu items. Best part was the Paloma(s). The Mexican drink of choice...that's right...go to Mexico and find out.“
“My husband and I are making our way through the "alphabet" of restaurants in Omaha that we haven't tried, and our F choice was First Round. We'd heard great things about it, and those things we heard were not wrong! First Round is located in the Blackstone District, which is a bustling neighborhood so parking can be a little hard to find on busy days. We found a spot after circling for a while and made our way to First Round. When we walked in, I was immediately greeted with a rush of fun music and the cool murals and decor. There are a bajillion TVs hung around the interior, so I could see this being a great spot to catch a game! There is a nice patio outside with colorful picnic tables, but we were there in winter so didn't get to try those out. It would be fun in summer to have a few drinks out on the patio - so we will have to go back for that. Our server was excellent, and super cheery. She had good recommendations, and updated us on the status of each item as she brought previous items out, which I really appreciated. We ordered a few appetizers/sides to begin: -Street Corn "Bases Loaded" Fries: If you're a fan of Elote, these are crinkle cut fries topped with all of those same things you find on Elote. The fries themselves were yummy even without all those toppings, so add them on and it's a home run! -Fried Mac & Cheese Bites: These were AMAZING and super well seasoned with tasty batter. They came with the Calabrian Mayo dip, that was so tangy and delicious. The order came with four bites, but they are giant so one or two per person is enough. I had to cut my one bite into quarters LOL! -Sirloin Skewers: Yum! These were little skewers with steak, veggies, and a topping of salsa verde. They were hearty and tasty. My husband isn't a fan of char on his steak, which these had - but I loved them. The char was on the outside of the steak bits, but the inside was soft and perfectly cooked. -Street Corn Quesadilla: This was so flavorful, with the chicken inside perfectly cooked, and the corn and lime crema mixture making it mouthwateringly tangy. It was huge, and could be a meal on its own. I even took half of it home in a box and reheated later for a snack and it was still great! For our entrees, we ordered a few things our server recommend, and we shared them both: -Wellington Pocket: I was surprised they had a beef wellington for $12.99, and especially one this divine! The puff pastry was light and not too thick/heavy, and it had a mustard sauce and some duxelles layered inside. The only thing that would have made it better would be a little gravy/brown sauce on the outside, but then it wouldn't be a handheld type item, which is the menu it was on (the In the Pocket section, which their online menu says "think of hot pockets" haha) -Chili Cheese Dog: I am not a huge fan of hotdogs in general, but this was GOOD! The chili was more on the sweet side, almost like a Mole, and the sausage itself was really high quality and full of flavor. First Round is fun, affordable, and above all else, has great food and service - that's a perfect 10/10 from me!“
“It was our 2nd time to a Japanese Hibachi grill and 1st time to this restaurant. We absolutely loved it. Our server, Shelby, was very kind and helpful. The chef Phillip or "Uncle Phil" was very talented, fun, and excellent with the food. It was all delicious, from the soup to the final entree. I highly recommend the Filet and Portobello mushroom combo. We went for our anniversary and want to come back soon.“
“Best catfish in Omaha. The house made hot sauce is some of the best I've ever had. The Mac and cheese is really good and the fried okra is great on its own or dipped in the hot sauce. The cornbread was super good as well. The service was spot on and the staff is friendly. Good atmosphere, very open space and lots of seating at the bar.Parking: Lots of parkingKid-friendliness: Family friendly dinningWheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible“
“We ordered takeout for a birthday celebration and it was divine! Chicken picatta, risotto, broccoli, green salad, and a veg platter with yummy dip. The food was delicious! They labeled everything with clear reheating info and provided plenty of sauce. It was enjoyed by all and we would absolutely order it again!“
“My wife and I ate here before going to see some basketball games. I placed an online reservation ahead of time and arrived 15 minutes early. We were told our table want ready yet and that we could wait at the bar. Our table was ready before our reservation and the service was spot on. Our meals were great, service was efficient and friendly, an overall fantastic experience for people not from the area.“
“My order came with tofu and shrimp. I did not order shrimp and had to ask for an exchange. The man i think was the manager was not very outwardly friendly imo. He was confused when i went up to return it. I'm vegetarian and so it did no good to me. The tofu in my replacement was terrible. Dry on one side of the cube like it had been sitting out in the air all day. Noodles we good. The price was ridiculous. $35 for 2 adults to eat. Drinks, 2 entrées, and an appetizer. I get costs are going up, but i can eat at a sit down restaurant for cheaper than that. I wont be back to any noodles and co for a while.“
“Gluten free options from the bakery are way more extensive than in the past. Gluten free chocolate cake was amazing. I recommend you keep it refrigerated. Gluten free peanut butter cookie was mid-range, but the gluten free sticky roll was great.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“I only order takeout lately, but they always get my order right and it's usually ready on time. The food is good. I get the Japanese Pan Noodles most of the time.Vegetarian options: I think the pan noodles are vegan. Then, you can add tofu.“
“First time there and I can safely say that we will be back soon. Had the lunch buffet and all food was hot and delicious. Our waitress was awesome with a wonderful personality. As I said, food was great and a big shout out to the entire staff. Highly recommend them next time you're hungry.“
“We had an issue with a small piece of an onion dicer in our pizza. The owner spent considerable time tracking us down and called us personally to rectify the situation. We are a long time patron of Mama's pizza and will continue to enjoy their great food and service!“
