“We are so glad we stopped at this restaurant during our cross country drive. Miguel greeted us with warmth and was very personable. We enjoyed listening to him tell us the family story of coming and starting a restaurant and finally settling down in Nebraska with this wonderful place to serve such great Mexican dishes. The food was fresh cooked and very flavorful. The service was excellent and feels as if we made a friend that fed us well and was good company while we dined. This place you will eat well and feel the warmth in the family atmosphere. Stop in if you have the chance!“

“We had the chicken and beef asada tacos and they live up to their ranking! The red hot sauce for the tacos was tasty, but VERY hot. The green tomatillo sauce was not got at all and had good flavor. The restaurant was busy and the service was excellent.“

“Driving through from Colorado to Minnesota, stopped to charge our car and decided we'd do take out. Delicious burritos, wish I'd ordered two!!! Noel is very friendly and does everything himself. Churros also very good.“

“Our server was amazing!! Food was so fresh and tasty. Will be back for sure.“
“I recently had a friend bring me a package of tortillas from this location. I'm a brand name kind of guy, but was willing to try them out. After whipping up a simple meat and rice mixture, I decided to used the gifted tortillas and immediately noticed the difference. They were light, yet full of flavor and clearly void of the preservatives you can taste in the name brands. Even as the tortillas closed in on their expiration date, they remained soft and didn't become brittle and break. As this location is completely out of the way from me, I don't intend on being a regular customer. However, I recommend anyone in the area, or those that are just passing by to give them a shot. If the rest of their products hold the same level of quality, I can't imagine you could go wrong.“
“Swung by Taco John’s for a quick bite, and it filled the hole pretty good. Tacos come out warm, plenty meat and taters, and for the price I can’t fuss too much. Place was decent clean and the folks at the counter were friendly, even if the order took a minute longer than I figured. Nothin fancy, just simple food that hits the spot when you’re on the go.“
