Heidelberg's Sports Bar

I really wanted to give this joint a better rating because the bartender was so sweet and attentive. However, I wandered in there for the last 5 min of Stanley Cup Finals and there were two big tables of parents and small kids. The kids were running around like wild animals and screeching at the too of their lungs. Five stars for being a nice, private spot to get away for some golden tee... 3 stars for just about everything else. Expensive pitchers, outdated TV's and average/good food. Service has always been pretty good.

Not at all impressed. I know the Huskers just finished a lousy season and the coach had just been fired but every staff member there was in a crappy mood. My margarita's were small and almost alcohol free and the wings I'd rate below average. Worst of all and this was unforgivable, we went there to watch THE Ohio State /TTUN game and they turned ALL of the televisions to the news about the coach being fired and wouldn't even turn one tv back to the game.
