I was just in the Dundee location. I picked up a coffee at Dundee Double Shot (favorite coffee in town) and took a drive through Country Club area (favorite spot in Omaha to feed my passion for local historical neighborhoods). I don’t commonly have a sweet tooth, but with the coffee I thought I’d see if Benson had a bakery (I’m dating myself but I remember the original one that was there for decades). I'm always delighted with whatever we get at Le Quartier! The almond chocolate croissants are reliably excellent. The ham and cheese croissants are so flavorful and make a perfect breakfast treat. I've been a fan of the Hungarian mushroom soup for a long time, and just tried the beef burgundy this week. wow, was it delicious! perfect cozy dish on a snowy day!
