“I had brunch here and the atmosphere and service blew me away. George was my server and he was attentive, extremely kind and friendly and absolutely on the ball. I ordered a black coffee and the The Hash Primavera. Eggs were perfectly scrambled and the veggies had a nice kick to it. The sweet and spicy flavor combination was perfect. Sweet from the sweet potato and the spicyness from the sauce. My favorite was the crispy brussel sprouts were my favorite.“

“We were just visiting Lincoln from Omaha for the day and literally found L's Kitchen by accident as it was near the where we were visiting. Found it on the internet looking for places for lunch nearby.

4.8 stars, French, and in Lincoln? Could it really be any good? But how can you not love a French restaurant the serves real Hungarian Goulash? So we tried it. For lunch.

What a surprise! The outside, not so much to look at. We almost turned around and went somewhere else. But we were hungry so we went in. Nice decor, friendly real French owner.

Goulash was not on the lunch menu! Horrors! But not a problem; the owner and chef made it for me anyway. Hot freshly made rolls just out from the oven. Delicious!

The food alone was well worth the drive from Omaha! The best goulash I've had in years. Butter tender meat, tasty broth. Just wonderful! A little French hidden gem in Lincoln! A total but wonderful surprise!

They open at 5:30 for dinner. Best to make an online reservation because they have no phone and relatively few tables which are spread out and not crowded together. When I asked the owner, he said he wants people to feel comfortable, relax, and spend as much time as they wanted without feeling crowded or rushed. I wish more restaurants had the same philisophy!

Have tickets to a show at Lied's? Coming from Omaha? Make a dinner reservation here first! We did for an upcoming performance! And save room for dessert!

This is a wonderful restaurant. Try it and you won't be disappointed!

Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian options on the menu. And the quality is truly superb! Don't miss the eggplant appetizer!

Parking: They have free on-site parking. Not a big lot, but it's a small restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access through the back. Plenty of room inside as the tables are not crowded together.“

I was parked on the side of the street and looked around to see where I could eat before a 3 hour drive to my next destination when I saw Honest Abe's burgers just across the street from where I was parked. Of COURSE I had to go try it and I was not disappointed. My burger and fries were fresh and delicious and the ladies working there were friendly. The signs, artwork, and general decor were fun - especially to me!“

“My husband and I stopped for dinner at Don and Millie's on 56th Street in Lincoln. The food, as always, was outstanding (they by far make the best cheeseburger in Lincoln...hand-formed beef patties with just the right amount of juiciness)....when we left, FOUR different employees acknowledged us. The worker sweeping the floor told us to have a great evening, and he thanked us for coming, the person working in the kitchen thanked us and told us to have a nice evening, the guy wiping tables thanked us and told us to come back, and the person at the order counter said goodbye and thanked us for coming. WOW! Good food and great service! You just don't find that kind of employee kindness and attention anymore, so Don and Millies now has a permanent customer with us!“

“I ordered the Swiss Mushroom Burger and French Fries via the drive-thru. Runza has the best fries! You can tell they change the oil in the fryer on a regular basis. The burger never tastes like it's been frozen and looks and tastes like real beef should. The staff were friendly and efficient and easy to understand when going through the drive-thru.“

We had a lady come out and check on us when we were eating and she asked us if we wanted any crispitos and we said yes! She brought some fresh ones out to us! “Came for our 8th wedding anniversary ❤️.
The food was excellent, the service a little inexperienced, but the worst was the heat. The air-conditioning was not working, and after a bottle of wine, boy, you could feel the heat. This made the whole experience so uncomfortable and sad to a beautiful day and meal.“

“I checked out Tavern 180 tonight for dinner. I had the Blue Cheese Burger and Brandi had the Wagyu Burger. To say it was delicious would be an understatement. The atmosphere was upscale casual and the staff A+. Definitely a place to go again and again. Located at 30th and Yankee Hill.“

“Pepper Jax is always a great place to go. You know exactly what to expect each visit and it's always hot and fresh. Never disappointed! The entire staff always seems happy and ready to get down to business. Pretty rare thing these days lol. Gotta respect that. Kept very clean and just always a great visit.

“Food quality is starting to fall in line with other restaurants. Chicken doesn't seem as fresh, and the broccoli was almost rubbery. The sauces are also starting to thin out. The wait staff was great and there was no wait to get in on a Tuesday night around 7PM. I'll come back in the future to see if food quality has improved.“

“We came in the evening there was no one there so every was fast. The food was great my only beef would be that the fried chicken on my sandwich could have used some seasoning. The veggies that came with the chicken fried chicken were amazing and the potatoes and gravy on point. The gnocchi was amazing the fries were to die for so crispy and perfect. The ranch was so so good. The mules were pretty tasty. Would definitely go back and eat here again. Try it out it’s very very good.“

“It was my first time trying the rice bowl. I added chicken, green peppers, and onions. They grill the ingredients together and then put it on top of the rice. It was good. I will be going a lot more. Can't believe I waited so long to try them. Oh, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

“Awesome place to watch a game. The wait staff are always friendly and helpful. Always a great atmosphere for any husker athletics!!! The cooks in the back always pay close attention to special requests and the food always comes out just as ordered and hot and delicious!!!“

“Delicious food! Busy night but we were seated quickly. Julie was our waitress and she brought by youngest a small cup of ice cream for dessert which was so sweet. They were out of forks but other than my 6 year old we didn’t mind. The reverse happy hour was great- prices were better than normal on many great rolls.“
