“Absolutely fantastic food and a great dining experience. Every dish was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared, and it’s easy to tell how much care goes into the menu. We really enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back. Highly recommend! My favorite dish was the scallops and risotto, appetizers were outstanding, and my husband enjoyed the chorizo rigatoni. I was parked on the side of the street and looked around to see where I could eat before a 3 hour drive to my next destination when I saw Honest Abe's burgers just across the street from where I was parked. Of COURSE I had to go try it and I was not disappointed. My burger and fries were fresh and delicious and the ladies working there were friendly. The signs, artwork, and general decor were fun - especially to me!“

“My husband and I stopped for dinner at Don and Millie's on 56th Street in Lincoln. The food, as always, was outstanding (they by far make the best cheeseburger in Lincoln...hand-formed beef patties with just the right amount of juiciness)....when we left, FOUR different employees acknowledged us. The worker sweeping the floor told us to have a great evening, and he thanked us for coming, the person working in the kitchen thanked us and told us to have a nice evening, the guy wiping tables thanked us and told us to come back, and the person at the order counter said goodbye and thanked us for coming. WOW! Good food and great service! You just don't find that kind of employee kindness and attention anymore, so Don and Millies now has a permanent customer with us!“

“First time I've ever sent a steak back. The second one was perfect. To be fair, someone else at our table ordered theirs medium-well, so the chef was probably just disoriented trying to understand why someone would do that :-).

No matter how average the service was, or how less-than-perfect the food was, the atmosphere was an OG experience I wouldn't want to miss. I felt like I was in an old Sinatra movie, and a sports bar at the same time. Ya gotta try this place!“

“My wife and I celebrated our 41st anniversary on July 7 with the date night three course meal. The corn fritters and jalapeño honey dipping sauce, the schnitzel and the creme brulee were perfection on a plate, and the price for two was incredible. Marisol made the dinner very special. “Runza is a great restaurant. This little location is great for a take home meal. It service to the neighborhood is wonderful. They are trying to stay open with all the street work. Don't let the construction hold you back. Give them your business. During the warmer weather it is fun to enjoy the picnic tables.“

“I ordered the Swiss Mushroom Burger and French Fries via the drive-thru. Runza has the best fries! You can tell they change the oil in the fryer on a regular basis. The burger never tastes like it's been frozen and looks and tastes like real beef should. The staff were friendly and efficient and easy to understand when going through the drive-thru.“

“LUIS!!! One of the kindest workers I’ve crossed paths with in the food industry in a long time. He was patient & explained their menu. I added Crispos late at the pay window & they were forgotten. Luis offered to bring them out to my car, genuinely apologized, and even added an extra handful of Crispos. Such a sweet worker, deserves a raise!“

“My Mom wanted to go to Wings and Rings and she gets what she asks for! Started with the Appetizer Sampler. She loves Onion Rings like I do, the childrens love Mozzarella Sticks, and I do believe they have one of the Best Pretzel Bites in town!

Mom really enjoyed her Wings. She prefers them plain with something to dip on the side. My Veggie Burger and Side Salad were pretty good, I've had them before. I sub a garlic aioli and extra lettuce.

Little Guy wolfed down his Mini Corn Dogs and Fries. Medium sized child was stupid happy and said they were like Top 3 Chicken Tenders she's had. Kids Eat Free on Mondays!“

“I went specifically for their firecracker chicken drumsticks -I like to order with sauce on the side to have crispy skin. Would not bring vegetarian friend here again, although when we did there were 1-2 things she felt comfortable to order.“

“They did make a mistake on my friends meal because the man at the register entered in the wrong sauce. But that happens, so no biggie. He apologized and promptly remade it. And all was well otherwise. Good food. And their workers were hustling diligently, not just moseying through it like some places.“

“Delicious food! Busy night but we were seated quickly. Julie was our waitress and she brought by youngest a small cup of ice cream for dessert which was so sweet. They were out of forks but other than my 6 year old we didn’t mind. The reverse happy hour was great- prices were better than normal on many great rolls.“

“It was my first time trying the rice bowl. I added chicken, green peppers, and onions. They grill the ingredients together and then put it on top of the rice. It was good. I will be going a lot more. Can't believe I waited so long to try them. Oh, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
