Amato's Cafe & Catering Reviews
Sorry to hear that it's closing but really enjoyed my first visit here. I had the meatball sandwhich - I'd describe it more burger/patty like on a kaiser roll, layered with cheese and their house tomato sauce. I really enjoyed it and thought the portion was a good size for $9. It does get messy though - it was tough to eat given the amount of tomato sauce so I used a fork and knife.
One of our favorite spots for breakfast. The bacon is thick, meaty & always great. Love their Orsi bread toast! Eggs are always cooked perfectly. The biscuits & gravy are excellent too. My daughter loves the Ricotta pancakes. We have never had a bad meal in all the years we have been going there. You're like family at Amato's & the staff has been there for years too. That tells a lot about a business!
When I wanted some delightful fluffy ricotta cheese pancakes.... this is where I went. I would get them plain or with fruit, but ways are just perfect. The creaminess of the cheese makes the pancakes so moist. Sad to hear they are closing.
