This is the best thing Omaha has going in food. The owner levels the playing field for all food businesses in Omaha to have a chance to grow. Pay is in line with output. Every ethnicity of food an taste is able to utilize this space and thrive. Kudos Omahas lunches are better because Dandelion is here.
This little spot is privately owned. The cops pretty much ignore the homeless activity here. I actually pitched a tent for several days on the concrete and was left alone by authorities, but did have belongings stolen. Having said that, there is heavy traffic through this spot with lots of attention to the homeless, like clothing, warm meal and sack lunch drop-offs. Great spot! We got to talk to the owner and love his concept of different chefs every Friday. We had the BEST burger made by the chef at Hydes Slydes. If you love burgers you have to try that place. Stop by and check out the Dandelion Pop Up and see what next Fridays special is. Highly recommend the place!
