Great food, great service, family atmosphere.
It’s always a good place to eat when I’m traveling
I was in for breakfast, the skillet was great and hot. Home fries were amazing with onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. Jackie was my server with great communications skills and knowledge of the menu. Jackie gave some suggestions of other things that I may want to try. Based on the reviews, Jimmy’s Egg is a restaurant known for consistent good food that never changes. The quality remains the same, and prices have only gone up a little bit. The menu covers all the bases from sweet to savory. Specific meals mentioned include the sour dough toast, the bacon, the Chorizo tacos, and the biscuits gone wild, which is insanely good and enough for two people. The food is dependably tasty, fast, and perfect to order, though one reviewer noted the food can be bland if not spicy. The service is a highlight, with servers described as wonderful, kind, fun, attentive, and all-smiles. They are cheerful and efficient, making customers feel at home. The restaurant can be a bit loud on the weekends and usually very busy, but the cooks work quickly regardless. One reviewer noted the restroom is clean but mentioned a need for better ventilation, as the smell of grease lingers. Overall, it is a well-run business offering great value for breakfast.
