Hours after our meal and my taste buds are still singing an endorsement for the Blackened Snapper Ponchatrain. It was a delicious mixture of snapper with a creamy bernaise sauce, creole grits and shrimp with a side of broccolini. Every bite was as good as the first one. We also enjoyed the trio of flavors platter with jambalaya, etouffe with smoked Gouda grits, and an amazing bowl of gumbo. Our server was a very knowledgeable and gracious.
Always have a great experience every time we visit Mouth of the South.
The Prime Rib on Friday and Saturday is highly recommended. Best Prime Rib I have ever had, hands down.

There have been instances where reservations did not go through, causing frustration during busy times like New Year's Eve. Some diners have mentioned that hot dishes like gumbo could be served hotter, but overall, many enjoy the vibe and menu, appreciating the fun and personable servers.
