“Best ice cream cake I think I've ever had! We got the cookie dough, oreo, and brownie cakes for our son's birthday not knowing how large they were gonna be. They we're huge!! We only went through two of them for 20 people, saving the brownie cake for later (it only made it a few hours before we cut into it though). Each cake was AMAZING!!!“
“i have heard of Lady T and I finally got to try her desserts today and they blew my mind. I got the sweet potato cake and a candy bar cake which were both so soft and fluffy while still being moist. the sweet potato cake is one of the best cakes I’ve ever tasted and im a baker! “Really loved the space as it makes for great meeting area or working. The menu is pretty simple. I had a matcha which was much sweeter and heavier than I would normally for it tasted more like drinking ice cream than a matcha. The staff was incredibly friendly and we talked with them multiple times during our visit. I'd be interested in trying coffee or latte next time as the sweetness was much more than I anticipated.“
“After years and years of seeing and cheering for Sweet Mags I finally got to stop into the Millwork location. So many yummy goodies were on display. Two lovely bakers were working hard in the back, but also gave me a good run down of the treats. I ordered 3 of the cookie sandwiches, all unique flavors. I did not care how hard the cookies were. I've had other bakers cookies sandwiches that are easy to bite into, and I was put off by how hard the cookies were, all three varieties. I may try another item next time, the bars looks absolutely delicious! Can't wait to try more items.“
“This patisserie is designed to feel like a cafeteria & it does. It's clean and bright. There's a lot of items to choose from; both breads & pastries.We tried the filled donuts with mango cream & vanilla cream. The vanilla one did not have much cream, but both had nice light flavors. We also got the yuzu pastry that was nice flaky with layers of yuzu jelly.Then there was the fun banana pastry that was yellow & shaped like a banana. This was my husband's favorite. And my favorite: the croissant filled with cream & strawberries. (Our kids are insisting we take them back to try both of these).They had a steady amount of customers, without being too busy.Overall, everything looked amazing & flavors were yummy! I only gave the food 4 stars because I had high expectations for the flavors & felt it they didn't quite "knocking our socks off". Also, they put our items in a bag, instead of a box. I felt like this made them flatten a little by the time we got home to eat them. We do plan to go back & try them again.“
“It was a nice brunch. Several got the chicken fried steak and they loved it. The sweet potato burger was amazing. The churro french toast and pancakes was perfect. One got the good looking bowl and liked it. The biscuits and gravy had an a wonderful flavor but very hard biscuit. We had so much food, so no need to redo. Chalk it up to perhaps being the last of the batch? Lots of people so some things was forgotten but quickly got it. Very sweet people.“
“I can't even begin to describe how flat out amazing their cupcakes are; have literally never had a bad cupcake flavor from Dave's! This is the first cake I ordered from them, for a friend's birthday, and LOOK AT THAT DETAILING! And SO tasty, it was gone in record time amongst the guests. Makes me want to think of all kinds of other cakes to order! Could not recommend Dave's Cakes more!“
