“Grand Patisserie is the BEST BAKERY in the Omaha Area! They are very passionate about their baking & everything is exquisite! All of the employees & the owners, Zied & Rafika are fantastic & are so happy to make the best recommendations for what you are looking for. We have also done special orders thru them & have had excellent results. This is our Go To bakery in Omaha!!Dietary restrictions: They have many GF DELICIOUS options“
“Best donuts I've ever had. Always pillowy soft dough, the perfect amount of glaze/icing, and always so fresh! We love stopping by and supporting a well loved local business. Would recommend getting there earlier rather than later, as the donuts go quickly!“
“Reis’ Bakery offers a taste of fine European baked goods right here in Omaha. Their offerings are of the highest quality and will delight any foodie. The crew at Reis’ goes above and beyond when it comes to service with a smile and lots of heart. Thank you for your wonderful act of kindness.“
“I live near the business and every payday I walk over to celebrate. Good beans and good drinks - I appreciate that they both have varietal and flavored beans. Dave's Blend is my recommendation! The staff has always been kind each time I'm in no matter who's working. Always good to see a local roaster succeed!“
“We offer these hand pies for breakfast at our short- term vacation rental and our guests literally mention them in the reviews about their stay. Our nine year old also absolutely loves them and would eat them every day if he could.Nostalgic and comfort food feels for all ages! ?✨“
“This patisserie is designed to feel like a cafeteria & it does. It's clean and bright. There's a lot of items to choose from; both breads & pastries. We tried the filled donuts with mango cream & vanilla cream. The vanilla one did not have much cream, but both had nice light flavors. We also got the yuzu pastry that was nice flaky with layers of yuzu jelly. Then there was the fun banana pastry that was yellow & shaped like a banana. This was my husband's favorite. And my favorite: the croissant filled with cream & strawberries. (Our kids are insisting we take them back to try both of these). They had a steady amount of customers, without being too busy.Overall, everything looked amazing & flavors were yummy! I only gave the food 4 stars because I had high expectations for the flavors & felt it they didn't quite "knocking our socks off". Also, they put our items in a bag, instead of a box. I felt like this made them flatten a little by the time we got home to eat them. We do plan to go back & try them again.“
“Ordered some birthday cupcakes from here. I swear if I didn’t have to share I would’ve eaten them all myself! So delicious! Customer service was amazing and made it effortless with the ability to text in my order. Highly recommend this gem of a shop!“
“This is a premiere patisserie. Many new places have opened but I still find myself choosing this place first. Sausage rolls in flaky croissant/puff are great. All croissants are top notch. Eclairs and other filled offerings are delicious. The rotating breakfast buns are great... if you land on pistachio day you are lucky! The opera cakes, so good. Get weekend berry/nut bread to go as well! (It's for take out only, not a sit down place. So no comment on coffee!) Love it, go! Mary“
“Hardy's has vegan options. This is why I am a customer. Their vegan items are quite yummy. I'm giving 5 stars because I like what's vegan, the shop is a nice place to be, and the staff always behaves pleasantly. However, this review will include an important complaint that will hopefully help owners understand the seriousness of VEGANISM to their vegan customers. Whenever I order the vegan burrito in person, I'm always asked by staff if I want sour cream with it, to which I always reply, "no, sour cream isn't vegan." There is, of course, vegan sour cream, and Hardy's doesn't carry any. I ordered doordash, and the sour cream came in the bag. On the app, I didn't have an option to reject the non-vegan topping. To be vegan is to boycott all products that come from animal use.Having a non-vegan item included with a vegan order as default is a display of ignorance. Can I trust that the other things they SAY are vegan actually are? Do not call something 'vegan' on your menu if the whole order is not. Dairy items should never be volunteered to those not asking for it. Cow products are not positive for many reasons: antibiotic resistance, animal exploitation, environmental damage, etc. Consider those who are lactose intolerant. That's an allergy! In addition, it's important to connect with loss of business for limiting the vegan options. You know this to be true already based on the success of the brownie—which is always vegan. Vegans only choose animal-free foods—with no exceptions. If someone says they're vegan but they partake in non-vegan action periodically, they don't understand what the Philosophy of Veganism is. It is not merely a diet, it's an ethical way of living that boycotts all animal use, all the time, as far as possible. Now, pre-vegans DO eat vegan food. For example, I love poppyseed muffins. There are delicious vegan poppyseed muffins I buy at Whole Foods. I wouldn't cheat on my ethical standards just because I want a poppyseed muffin, I'm at Hardy's, and I don't want to make the drive to Whole Foods. I choose the vegan option instead, whatever flavor it may be. Boycotting the use of animals is more important than my taste preference for a POPPYSEED PASTRY, and the vegan option is delicious anyway. In reverse, pre-vegans aren't boycotting items ABSENT of cow's milk, chicken's eggs, honey, and anything else from an animal. Pre-vegans are who mostly buy that vegan brownie, and I doubt the majority of them even notice the LACK OF dairy, honey, and egg in it. I can't even tell a vegan pastry is vegan based on taste alone, because cow's milk and chicken's egg isn't what makes baked goods taste how they do. The plant ingredients bring them to life. If I was lied to, and told something was vegan when it wasn't, how would I know? The flavor profile isn't much different. You can't actually detect those ingredients in baked goods without a superhuman palate. What's the point of making any pastry non-vegan anymore? Animal ingredients are outdated. I also love cinnamon rolls. They are non-vegan most of the week, but on Friday and/or Saturday I can sometimes get a vegan cinnamon roll from Hardy's! Why are they not vegan all week? When desired vegan option is unavailable, vegans will leave and go elsewhere, or make it themselves. Lost business. I've gone in before for coffee and pastry when all vegan options were sold out, so I bought coffee only. If all non-vegan pastries were sold out and a pre-vegan came in for the same purpose, with their coffee they'd get a vegan pastry. No loss. By not making all pastries vegan and having default condiments for everyone be vegan, the result is lost business and waste. Aside from the ethical reasons to be vegan, I also understand that animal foods are detrimental to human health (Book: How Not To Die by Micheal Greger, MD). That cow sour cream went right down my garbage disposal. If y'all made your poppyseed m“
“Found out about this bakery via Google and thought they had an interesting selection of baked goodies so decided to stop by for a taste. I really loved the cafeteria style operation they have going on here where you grab a pair of tongs and a food tray then pick out whatever pastries you desire from their respective cubbies. Then you take your tray to the cashier where they ring you up and bag up your treats. My whole family loved everything we purchased here, love the vibes of the Hispanic neighborhood and this local bakery. Prices were very darm good for the amount of goodies we got.“
“This is a solid bakery. I've driven past this place my fair share of times & finally stopped in to pique my curiosity. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but when you step in you're greeted with the smell of fresh baked bread & pastries. The concha's are some of the best I've had & are enough alone to go back. Being my first time there, the ladies at the register were super friendly in giving recommendations for customer favorites. Will definitely be making a trip back.“
“Love this place. It's a regular stop on walks. Super friendly & will greet you by name when you're a regular. They give great drink recommendations when you want to try something different, and they always spoil my pup with a treat (or 3). And they have the best chai latte! Hands down, our favorite coffee shop.“
“Another stop on my Omaha tour for my parents and as always, didn't disappoint. The honey lavender cookie with lavender frosting was the group favorite, but we also really enjoyed the oatmeal cookie sandwich and cinnamon sugar donut. Key lime pie bar was a little too sour for us, but everything else was delicious! Bakers immediately greeted us and were very patient while we deliberated what to order“
“Great elite event. We will definitely be returning customers. Great selection, great toppings and great atmosphere. Im Normally not a fan of dark chocolate anything but my fav was the dark chocolate brownie with mixed toppings lol.. Love the outside little patio area. Thank you for such a great event, our twins LOVED all the great treats.“
“We stop in for the occasional treat thanks for a monthly punch card they have to offer. My kids love getting to pick out the most fun and festive looking cupcake of the day. The shop is quaint, with one bistro table and a couple of chairs. The cupcakes are beautifully made, but flavor profile-wise, I've yet to truly be floored. I'm guessing their main jam is catering/custom cakes, and I can't speak to that part of the biz. From our experiences, the staff has been very kind and accommodating.“
“Green Bean is delicious! I always get the strawberry banana smoothie, it tastes natural compared to a lot of other places. Here its like the smoothies I make at home and I love how big their large size is, because I usually can finish a smoothie in the car on my way home ? And to top it off they have a rewards program! Def my favorite place in the neighborhood for breakfast.“
“I really enjoy getting the chance to go to Chippy's. It's always clean, staffed with pleasant people, and they always have something tasty to leave with.Sometimes I'll go looking for something very specific, only to find it very out of stock. Just have to remind myself, it's not their fault, they're an import business, and sometimes those shipments run late.“
“After years and years of seeing and cheering for Sweet Mags I finally got to stop into the Millwork location. So many yummy goodies were on display. Two lovely bakers were working hard in the back, but also gave me a good run down of the treats. I ordered 3 of the cookie sandwiches, all unique flavors. I did not care how hard the cookies were. I've had other bakers cookies sandwiches that are easy to bite into, and I was put off by how hard the cookies were, all three varieties. I may try another item next time, the bars looks absolutely delicious! Can't wait to try more items.“
“I cannot believe I have never reviewed this place before. It's all about the cafeteria trays and tongsWalk in grab tray and pair of tongs The prices are never the same (cheap cheap cheap)You go down the line and self serve all the delicious homemade treatsThe Jalapeño and cream cheese rolls are the best things ever. The rolls are fresh and a hint of sweetness. They are stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeños OMGI never know what I'm getting but it's always delicious. You take your tray up to pay and they bag or box it for you. Amazing!!!!“
“We made a point to stay at a hotel nearby last night so we could come to this shop. We found this place on a previous trip, and since we were coming through town again, we knew we wanted to come back! Great food, friendly people, and a relaxing vibe.“
“Finally tried these cookies after having them on my list for a long time. Love the concept- we came after a concert and it was the perfect late night snack. We got 6 cookies: Peanut butter, butterscotch oatmeal. red velvet, pumpkin spice, caramel apples, and confetti (ordered in favorite).“
“I already loved Archetype Coffee, but the one in Millwork Commons is special. The open space and sleek industrial style is perfectly complimented by the pops of color from digital and traditional forms of art. The matcha was creamy and smooth, the strata was herbaceous and comforting. 10 out of 10, would absolutely recommendKid-friendliness: The open and colorful space would definitely inspire any young artists or aspiring architects“
“Not fancy, but simple and delicious. Menu includes house made soups; sandwiches on fresh bread; sausages-knackwurst, bratwurst, kielbasa; tuna, chicken and egg salads; pickled vegetables, saurkraut and amazing pastries. My husband loves soup. His favorite here is the beef barley. The soup list on the chalkboard changes with the seasons but offers 4 or 5 kinds. Once they run out of your favorite for the day you are out of luck. Dont worry, husband has tried most of them and hasn't found a bad one yet.My favorite is grilled ham and cheese or chicken salad sandwich. This is a casual, friendly, place with loyal patrons. Known for the rye bread and their tortes especially the napoleon.“
“This place helped support an organization that our daughter benefits from so I have their coffee a try. It was so good I've ordered several more bags. Today we stopped by to pick up more coffee, and grabbed a soft pretzel. Absolutely love their coffee and that pretzel was great!“
“Lori creates excellent desserts that are made with thought and care. Her attention to detail when working with us and providing quotes was fantastic. I highly recommend her and Sugar Coma. If you need sweet treats for a corporate event definitely consider ordering from here!“
“This place is a whole hearted YES. If you haven't been yet - Get your butt over there and discover the magic. Ive yet to have one item here that I didn't enjoy. Big hits for me are their Olive Bread, Lemon Bars, Cheese Danish, Ham n Cheese Croissant. I also had a cranberry and walnut sourdough that was to DIE for, not sure if it was seasonal bc I haven't seen it recently. Some tips for you: 1) They have day old bread that is quite the deal if you're on a budget. 2) They can slice the bread for you 3) Pastries and Bread freeze well on their own to prolong shelf life. Freeze the pre-sliced bread and just put straight into your toaster /oven whenever you want a slice. 4) They have a freezer case with assorted pastries that are also a deal. I go every other week to pick some up for easy breakfast/snacks. The re-heat instructions are on the bag.“
“We were absolutely thrilled with our daughter's first birthday cake! It was not only expertly decorated and absolutely adorable, it was delicious (we went with confetti cake with vanilla buttercream). Chelsie was so personable and easy to work with, and the process could not have been easier. We'll definitely be back for special occasion cakes and other treats!“
“Nothing bundt perfection. These desserts are a great option for truly any occasion. They offer different sizes from the individually portioned bundtinis to the large cakes to share. I am not a huge sweets person by any means but I would never turn down a slice of bundt cake. This is in fact my go to dessert option on my birthday. Vanilla is my personal favorite flavor but all the flavors they offer are genuinely delicious and best of all is the icing on top. I highly recommend Nothing Bundt Cakes.“
“We used Pettit's for a wedding in August and could not be more pleased! Ordered 4 flavors of sheet cake and fed over 400 guest! Prices were amongst the lowest we found and they had flavors we couldn't get from other locations such as peanut butter and a raspberry that was the guest favorite! Easy to work with and let us pick it up the day of with no delays.“
“Had Hardy Coffee one other time prior to this when sister was in town visiting. Figured I would try again since been a while.Ordered Basic Breakfast Burrito & large Benchmark. Coffee good but a tad bitter, so my have to experiment with brew on next visit. Breakfast Burrito had no bacon &/or cheese as listed online menu description. Still good though with the side sour cream & salsa.Def will be trying again & hopefully with a much better result, other than that I am pleased.“
“I think I delivered a package here on my amazon route. I've got all these questions of what they sell, and I have no idea. I didn't even notice what kind of pastries sold, but it seemed like a nice pastry shop..that's all I can say..bye oh if i go there again I will take some photos..“
“Really great, went in today for the first time and was helped by a very nice person who explained their setup to me. I tried the funnel cake, lemon, cinnamon sugar, chocolate peanut butter, and original glazed. All were amazing! Very soft donuts and very quick service, can’t wait to try their drinks soon :)“
“My kids love getting the birthday cookies here and just to stop in and grab a couple as a treat from time to time. My daughter turned 16 and wanted a speciality design on hers and they did such a great job. And I was late placing the order but they didn't seem to care. They got it done on time and it turned out so amazing. I'd highly recommend.“
“Delicious bakery bread and cake! As soon as you enter the bakery a wonderful aroma of freshly made bread fills the atmosphere and instantly gives you cravings for some Mexican style breads and Cakes. The price is wonderful and the breads are a good sized portion. I enjoyed their 3 leches cakes, very delicious and moist cakes with strawberry or peaches layered in the center and topped on top. They can inscribe words for you on top at no extra cost and only before the cake artist leaves around night. They also sell international calling cards and a few possible other things. They have candles you can buy also for your cake. They speak both English and Spanish.“
“Very clean space, staff is so very friendly. I love there cookies they are very filling and taste amazing! I love the new flavors every week although I would say that CRUMBL should add an option to pick older cookie versions. I feel like that could get more sales and I would love that “
“This is exactly what I would expect walking into a Crumbl cookie shop! A good arrangement of choices, good service, and warm soft cookies to take out with you. This was the first time I ordered a birthday present and it was quite simple to accomplish on the touchscreen ordering. I also appreciated that the lady behind me didn't want to use the touchscreen diy ordering, and asked the lady behind the counter to assist with ordering so she could pay in cash, and she happily assisted her with great service. These cookies are still delicious!!“
“Called on a Thursday for a cake I needed Saturday. Tita answered and was super friendly but we clearly had a language barrier. I asked if I could text her a picture so all of our communication was in text after that. I was having a Murder Mystery party and the theme was Body on the Boardwalk. I sent 2 pics and asked her to put them together. I've never ordered a cake from Tita before so I wasn't sure what I was going to get with only sending 2 pics. My dad picked up the cake for me so I didn't see it until it got home. It was perfect! So pretty and the shells were realistic. I asked for a body outline on top and she nailed it. Went with chocolate cake w/ raspberry filling. The cake was super dense and moist. A huge hit at my party! Can't wait to buy my next cake from Tita!“
“This is my favorite place to get a bagel in all of Omaha. It is the perfect place for a Sunday breakfast after church with loved ones or a significant other. My girlfriend and I on several occasions go to this place after mass on Sunday as a mini tradition. The wait time may seem long when you get inside but it's such quick service with friendliest of people serving you. Our go to is to get a Denver Omelet bagel sandwich on an Everything Bagel and then split and Everything Bagel with cream cheese and a cup of Joe. This is all at very affordable price and it's a place that has been family owned and operated since 1977. The ambience almost makes you feel like you are at a New York Deli (full disclosure never been to a New York Deli but I would very much like to go.) All in all an Omaha staple you must try!“
“Stepping inside, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of freshly baked treats and the warm smiles of the staff. The array of pastries on display is simply mesmerizing, with each delicacy promising a delightful flavor adventure. From flaky croissants to decadent cakes, Pettit's offers something to satisfy every sweet craving. What truly sets Pettit's apart is not just the quality of their pastries, but also the genuine hospitality of their team. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're treated like family from the moment you walk in. The cozy ambiance of the pastry shop only adds to the experience, inviting you to linger over coffee and pastries or simply enjoy a moment of indulgence. In conclusion, Pettit's Pastry is more than just a bakery...it's a destination for sweet delights and warm hospitality. If you find yourself in Omaha, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. Your taste buds will thank you.“
“Nice selection of cookies. You can get two sizes and there are some special cookie sandwiches and decorated cookies too. Sometimes they close early, we got there ten before closing and the door was locked in the past, but we've rolled with it and figured we didn't need a ne that bad. Service is okay. The shop is plain, but functional. Wish there were small bistro tables out front to sit. Price wise they are on the top end, but the big cookies are so big that they're two desserts worth.“
“Found this place via TripAdvisor. The moment you walk in it smells delicious!!! The gentleman helping us at the counter was amazing. We thought we would have to eat in the car but he graciously set up a table for us to enjoy our early afternoon pizza. We are so glad we got there when we did because it was a steady stream of folks coming in to pick up pizza, homemade bread and pasta from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. Highly recommend!!“
