Shout out to Julie who answers the phone for bread orders as well as any questions you may have. She was polite and patient with hearing me out when I was trying to find a specific kind of bread. I also want to give a shout out to Jim Rotella. Same positive attitude as Julie and after I told him what I was looking for he said he would find out what he could for me and that he would call me back in a few minutes. With a business like Rotellas I’m sure they’re busy, so I wasn’t expecting a call right away (which was okay with me). Sure enough Jim calls me back within a few minutes. Those two went above and beyond for me. Also shoutout to the ladies I always see working in the retail store. They’re always willing to help and I have never had a bad experience from there. As someone that’s new to the food truck business I’m glad they’re the ones I buy my bread from.“

I ordered a custom Magic the Gathering cake for my husband’s birthday and two dozen cupcakes for my son’s birthday party (the parties were about a week apart). Things I liked: how slick the online ordering system is, how many questions were asked to make sure we were on the same page regarding the vision, how easy it was to pay online, and how fast pickup was. Things I loved: how tasty the cake and buttercream was, how moist and flavorful everything was, and how wonderfully everything looked! The cake and cupcakes were a huge hit! Even though it was taking work from John he graciously let me follow him around the company I worked for As he repaired our equipment. Training me the whole time. He gave me the base knowledge that I needed to be successful While showing me how to avoid the dangers that come with this job. The training John gave me over 10 years ago now it has turned me into a great technician.. You will not find a a more knowledgeable person On equipment repair than he is. He also strives to maintain fair prices. And I will tell you I live a long ways away from Omaha now but I called John the other day with a question and even though he didn’t have to he still picked up that phone and helped me work through what I was stuck on. which he has also done many times throughout my career. What others have failed to Fix correctly You can count on him to get the job done the correct way.“

She made the whole interaction so awkward. We bought 4 pastries & a box of 6 macaroons. We were going to stay but, we left after paying. She handed me the tray back? Then was rude when I asked her if she wanted me to put it back? I placed it back & started to walk out, she then said bring it back here?! So odd.“

The cake looked exactly like the design we discussed and tasted fresh, moist, and not overly sweet. Everyone at the party kept asking where it came from. The staff was friendly and patient while helping me choose flavors, even though I changed my mind a couple times. The only small thing was that pickup took a few extra minutes than expected, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall, a really good experience and I'd definitely order from them again.“
