The Orleans Room is a highly recommended destination for a delightful dining experience, located in the classically restored 1920's Blackstone Hotel of Midtown Omaha. This restaurant is home to the original Reuben sandwich, an American sandwich icon known for its chunky corned beef, very dark rye bread, and minimal Thousand Island dressing. The restaurant offers excellent dishes, including the standout Reuben sandwich and a variety of appetizers like the sweet corn soup and outstanding deviled eggs.
The bar area is spacious and well-stocked, featuring amazing cocktails in a pleasant atmosphere with very good wait staff. The menu showcases a range of options, including the turkey avocado club, and includes the uniquely created Butter Brickle Ice Cream from the 1920's.
