“It's a weird little shop being the building is shared with a gas station. But the food's good, and it's pretty cheap, about ten bucks for a cheese steak. The inside is pretty dingy, and they need to update terribly.... But to keep costs down, i'm cool with it how it is!”

“At some point I decide to pay what it costs to get a pizza that I used to get more often. It's the large stuffed crust Chicago style pizza so you can also justify spending more because it's going to give me at least 4 meals. Sandwich meal comes with your choice of chips, drink as well as a cookie of the day, ice cream, pickle and baby carrots very reasonably priced. i haven't taken anyone there for lunch that didn’t thoroughly enjoy it. “We were just visiting Lincoln from Omaha for the day and literally found L's Kitchen by accident as it was near the where we were visiting. Found it on the internet looking for places for lunch nearby.

4.8 stars, French, and in Lincoln? Could it really be any good? But how can you not love a French restaurant the serves real Hungarian Goulash? So we tried it. For lunch.

What a surprise! The outside, not so much to look at. We almost turned around and went somewhere else. But we were hungry so we went in. Nice decor, friendly real French owner.

Goulash was not on the lunch menu! Horrors! But not a problem; the owner and chef made it for me anyway. Hot freshly made rolls just out from the oven. Delicious!

The food alone was well worth the drive from Omaha! The best goulash I've had in years. Butter tender meat, tasty broth. Just wonderful! A little French hidden gem in Lincoln! A total but wonderful surprise!

They open at 5:30 for dinner. Best to make an online reservation because they have no phone and relatively few tables which are spread out and not crowded together. When I asked the owner, he said he wants people to feel comfortable, relax, and spend as much time as they wanted without feeling crowded or rushed. I wish more restaurants had the same philisophy!

Have tickets to a show at Lied's? Coming from Omaha? Make a dinner reservation here first! We did for an upcoming performance! And save room for dessert!

This is a wonderful restaurant. Try it and you won't be disappointed!

Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian options on the menu. And the quality is truly superb! Don't miss the eggplant appetizer!

Parking: They have free on-site parking. Not a big lot, but it's a small restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access through the back. Plenty of room inside as the tables are not crowded together.”

“I’ve eaten Chinese food all over this country.Never better than Chopsticks Lincoln.Service absolutely superior.For a small operation they get customers served promptly.The staff are courteous and helpful in taking orders and delivering meals.Hard to imagine how they handle it with such an extensive menu.Cleaner than almost every restaurant I’ve been to. Get your meal here ,you won’t be disappointed.”

“I can’t even begin to explain how happy I was with our recent visit to Momo. Our waitress, Gracie, was so over the top phenomenal. So kind, soft, and informative. Me and my boyfriend had our first date at Momo back in ‘21 and we are moving to Houston on Wednesday. So it only felt right to finish up our NE chapter where it began. The food was INCREDIBLE. We even sent compliments to the chef. My boyfriend is a huge foodie with a background in culinary and rates his pork ribeye one of the best meals he’s EVER had. I will always be so happy and appreciative of our trips to Momo. Thank you for helping close our chapter here. Gracie is AMAZING! 10/10 customer service and humanity.”

“I'm not a coffee snob, I usually buy the cheapest store brands and then have to add so much it really isn't coffee. I decided to buy some ground coffee from TCS and was I ever surprised. It is wonderful. I could tell the difference immediately. I just had to add a tablespoon of cream and nothing else. Drinking this coffee is a treat.”

“The hot beet sandwich was the worst meal I ever had there. The potatoes were hard, dry, and cold, the beef was good and gravy but the whole meal was cold. I've had really good hot beer sandwich there before & it was delicious but today something was off. I was very disappointed.”

“I phoned a week before the date we wanted to make reservation. Trevor was very nice and said I could reserve a long table for up to 15 guests. I verified number of guests and called a couple days before arriving on the 24th to confirm the number attending. We were very impressed with Trevor and the quality of food was outstanding.. I had the beer macaroni and cheese and loved it. A couple people had Rueben's and were equally impressed. Burgers and chicken strips were large. I was impressed with nice side salad. The salmon was beautifully plated too. Highly recommend coming to the Mettle Grill. You will not be disappointed The only downside was the chairs were very heavy and if you put gliders on chair legs it would make it easier for an older group to move the chairs. Trevor was very pleasant and efficient. Will definitely return.”
