I was telling the owner I just moved to the area from CT and forgot to empty my silverware drawer, so I had no silverware. Well, as awesome as they are, they gave me a bunch of plasticware AND the use of a can opener! 😆 Thank you so much for the warm and kind welcome AND food!!!!“

“We just spent our annual summer vacation in Wolfeboro and we couldn’t get enough of Lydia’s. We went there 3 times for breakfast!! The food was consistently delicious and the staff was great. I recommend them“

“Stopped here during our car ride to our vacation house (back in August) to stretch our legs, grab a snack, and enjoy a very necessary mid-day beer. I’m vegan, so the sign out front that said “NOT ENOUGH VEGAN OPTIONS” made me laugh out loud. It was perfect, first thought was it must have been a review. Love that humor. Also, somehow the only photo I took that day was of that sign.
The owner, or management — hard to say but clearly someone who cares, was there with (his) kids and was incredibly kind. He took time to show my son the amazing wall art and pointed out all the fun details, which instantly won us over.
Beer-wise: plenty of funky options (and yes, beer is typically vegan). They were totally cool with my modified order, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Great humor, awesome artwork, very kid-friendly, and an easygoing, inclusive atmosphere.
Bonus points for being partially veteran- and female-owned, and clearly committed to local, slow, and thoughtful food.
We stopped by to kill a little time and left really thankful for the experience. Would absolutely stop again.“

“What a find! We wanted to try a new place for our Anniversary and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was so unique, the food was outstanding and our server Kevin was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

“Been going to this tavern for years. Unfortunately the last few times have been disappointing but our visit last night was exceptional. The food was fantastic, the general manager was a true hospitality professional. We are already looking forward to our next visit.“

“Huge portions and very fresh, even the tenders were handmade. We got a 2 way plate,fried pickles,and a chicken finger and honestly,the 2 way plate would have been plenty enough for 2. Service was very quick and polite. Be hungry when you come,you are gonna need it!“
