“We’ve had a home on the lake for more than 50 years and, this evening, is the first time we visited this outstanding, hidden gem, fun, vibrant, wonderful, restaurant. Our server, Pam, is beyond superb… Friendly, great sense of humor, faster than greased lightning, and the food was tremendous. We were in and out in 35 minutes, the food was delivered piping hot to our table, delivered to us faster than we had time to close the menu after ordering, wonderful place and we will return many times again. “I'm your neighbor from the other side, south sore of Montréal, Quebec. I passed by from my camping trip in Biddeford, Maine. This place was very different from what i thought, it makes us feel very comfortable and welcoming. The workers are nice and service was fast. The food was delicious, i orderd the hamburger diner plate and i was full!

“Best pizza I’ve had and I eat a decent amount of pizza! We had broccoli Alfredo, Hawaiian, and veggie. Loved the crust — it’s like halfway between Chicago deepdish and thin crust. Looks like it’s baked in a cake tin? Highly recommend!“

“My go to spot for Asian in the ossipee region. The sushi is constantly well prepared and fresh. The servers excel at trying to be helpful whether im alone or if I bring a group. Cost is on par or slightly higer than other Japanese restaurants but its worth it.“

One with mash potatoes and the other with 1/2 fries 1/2 onion rings. We got their side salad and the. Split the lemoncello mascarpone cake. All under $50“

“I don’t know who is running Burnt Timber, but they deserve some sort of award. I walked in exhausted, running on fumes, and somehow left feeling like I’d just come back from a week-long vacation.

First of all, the owner… whoever approved that hat deserves a raise. It instantly transported me to a beach bar in Havana where my only responsibility was deciding whether to order another drink. I can’t explain it, but the hat has powers.

The atmosphere is absolutely electric. I went from wanting a nap to wondering if I should cancel the rest of my day and just hang out there forever.

The staff? Somehow they assembled the Avengers of hospitality. It felt like every favorite bartender, server, and personality from all the best spots around town got together and decided to create the ultimate dream team. Friendly, hilarious, attentive, and somehow making it all look effortless.

If you’re looking for average, keep driving. If you’re looking for incredible food, unforgettable vibes, and an experience that makes you question whether you’ve accidentally been transported somewhere in Havanna that’s much cooler than your hometown… Burnt Timber is the place.

“Monday (Labor Day), I drove an hour to here on my way home from Maine for breakfast to find they were closed. No sign or anything. I checked both FB and online before going (I was on the road before they opened), to find that they were going to be opened. I’m just wondering why they were closed.“

“The food was good and the atmosphere was great, the waitress was not very attentive to our table though.. I did ask to be put away from people due to my wife's health and getting ready for her bone marrow transplant so that might have scared her to not come over to our table much. I ordered a carrot cake to go but never received it, I forgot all about it when I paid the check but I was at the counter buying some glasses so it wasn't like I just up and left, there was time for the waitress to bring it out or could have brought it out when I paid the check but she didn't. other than that it was very good and their light beer I got was excellent.“
