A real gem on Newfound Lake with excellent food, wonderful views and a ready to help staff. Their fried clams are the best in the lakes region of New Hampshire. Have to get their early as the place fills up fast and they don’t take reservations.
Great spot that continues to surprise. Fried clams and the shrimp were tasty. It's a little rough around the edges and I wish there was some more non fried options. This is essentially the only restaurant on the lake so they don't need to do anything to succeed but I wish they stepped it up.

Dined at The Big Catch last night for dinner. The location is very nice with a beautiful lake front view. Unfortunately the food isn’t near as appealing as the view. The calamari was incredibly bland and disappointing. The blackened shrimp was good, however the potato salad and corn that came with it left much to be desired. The salad was simply some basic iceberg lettuce and assorted cut vegetables and looked about as sad as it tasted. I’m afraid I would not return to eat...read full review
