“It's mid-October and I'm craving ice cream. Most places are closed for the season or closing early. It's 7pm and I see an open sign like an oasis in the desert! Stumbled across this place on a whim and wow! What a pleasant surprise. Very nice little store on the corner, love the design of the interior. Felt very welcomed walking in and everything looked so good. I forget the name of the guy working there, but he was hilarious, had us laughing as we chatted away. We had some of the most amazing desserts I've ever had. Truly a miracle we found this place. Can't wait until it opens up again next year!“

“If Hart's is not your thing when visiting Meredith, try this fantastic alternative. Surfside is a great low key spot for burgers, seafood, tacos and a wide menu that doesn't suffer from the variety. The service on the outdoor patio is a great outdoor location for a nice day and staff is always friendly. Portion and price friendly with a good amount of quality food, you'd do yourself a favor trying this place out.“

“The ice cream is amazing. They have options for everyone. I had the orange shebert and the cake batter. The building is small and a little chaotic on the inside but it overlooks the lake and creates a beautiful vista for you to look at as you eat your dessert.“
