I'm going to rate this place 5 stars. Most of the time the food is great and the atmosphere is good. We have had less than stellar experiences. But what restaurant is perfect
The takeout can definitely use some improving. The first time I ordered the mac and cheese with pulled pork and there were maybe 3 pieces of pork in it. When we actually ate in the restaurant and got the same thing there was way more pulled pork in it. You should get the same amount whether you are dining in or getting take out. Tonight we ordered burgers to go and mine was suppose to have special sauce and there was none. That was part of the reason I ordered the the Taverne...
Went in for dinner. I had the smoked bacon cheddar burger plus side order of Cole slaw, my wife had fish and chips. I ordered the burger cooked medium, it came out rare, and greasy. Couldn't pick it up, one bite and my fingers were covered with cheese and grease. Both our french fries were small pieces and most over cooked. The real surprised came from the check.
