“I spent my life in NYC and traveling to other large metro cities in Europe, Canada, and in 48 states for both work and pleasure and have found myself lately living in Deerfield for family. While missing large city restaurant experiences I still travel extensively but when we are home we rely on Big Dog and Charlie’s for our multiple-times each week take out or dine-in experiences and we have NEVER had a bad experience or meal there. In a town of ~5,000 they do admirably by their residents to keep them interested in their menus and in their service style. There are alot of experiences in Deerfield that are small town and “hick”. Big Dog is not one of them. Ignore the review by Nunyabizes-it is crude, thoughtless and in these days and times has an agenda that only aims to destroy a small family-run business that wants to serve a town anxious for businesses. Come make up your own mind.“
