“Located in downtown Manchester, this small restaurant has a lot of personality. The bar was spacious with most tables understandably empty on a Monday afternoon. Our nachos were nothing to brag about, but my friend’s tuna appetizer looked amazing. We were both pleased with the cocktail menu and our selections. “New to the area, went to AJ's for the first time yesterday afternoon 2/8/24. Bartender Lauren couldn't be more charming and helpful. She approved our choice of a large Ck'n Bacon Ranch Pizza which was delicious and more than me and my GF could finish. I'd like to see them add a small green salad (around $6) as compared to the giant one listed on the menu for $11.75 but appeared on our check for $13.75 (just an update that hasn't been adjusted on the menu, I'm sure). Nice crisp, fresh draft beer with happy hour prices. We're definately going back.“
“My husband & I love this place. It's definitely our go to spot whenever we just want to have a relaxing drink or meal. Atmosphere and staff is great - everyone's super friendly and just makes you feel comfortable. They have Trivia I believe every Wednesday which is really fun as well and there aren't a ton of teams so better odds at winning (even though we got crushed last time). We haven't had dinner here since they revamped the menu but we tried the lobster rangoons and damn! There were decent sized chunks of lobster in them which I feel like we've never gotten elsewhere even at higher end spots.“

“This is a cute little bar very close to the Manchester Airport. I think there are a lot of regulars as the bar itself was fairly crowded but there were plenty of seats in the restaurant section. Almost all of the tables are high tops which I found a little uncomfortable.I have to say that we tried this place because of a lot of the Google reviews that talked about great happy hour specials, including $5 beer pitchers.We went at 4:00 p.m. and were told they have no happy hour specials but they do have mini pitchers of beer which were the equivalent of two pints. However those were $11 each not $5. There were no food specials for happy hour.There was one server who was working the entire restaurant including the bar so she was a little rushed but extremely friendly and it made up for the wait. The food was good and the french fries were very hot which I find to be a big plus.Overall it was a nice stop and we enjoyed the evening but we're a little disappointed in that it was not the value that we were expecting.“
“My son and I decided to check out this new restaurant-so glad we did! We were seated at a high table in the bar area. I really like the atmosphere at Foundation. Our servers were very pleasant and helpful with our questions. Being craft beer drinkers, we were pleased with the selection. In fact, I was delighted to be able to enjoy a pint of Wormtown's Blizzard of 78-one of my favorite winter brews. There is a full bar. Rob & I shared all the food we ordered so we could sample a wide variety. All were excellent. We had Braised Short Ribs, Arancini, Pecan Pear Salad, Sweet Potato Gnocchi, and still had room to share a Snickers Dessert. Since we were sharing, all of our selections came out from the kitchen split, which was a nice touch. I am looking forward to returning to Foundation kitchen + bar in the near future.“
