“This was our first time to visit the Tideline public house. We had a great experience. The food was fresh and delicious. We had the quinoa bowel and the turkey panini. They have a good selection of beer. The brown ale and saisson were both very tasty. The staff was very helpful, professional, and well spoken. The restaurant and grounds are very clean. Thank you for such a great experience. We will definitely visit again!“
“Very cozy atmosphere, the owner greeted and seated us, our waitress Desirae was very friendly and attentive. We got the Carolina pork fries, which were amazing. The fries were crispy and seasoned with a very yummy maple powder, topped with very juicy mild smoked pulled pork and coleslaw. I ordered the double barrel ribs, brisket, cornbread, and beans. It came with 4 big fall off the bone ribs and 5 or 6 slices of brisket with a brown sugar house BBQ. The beans are the best I've ever had. There were several chucks of meat in them, and the cornbread was awesome. I took half of my meal home for leftovers. My boyfriend got the smash burger and which was equally as good. We will be back ?“
“This place is such a gem! The food is Devine and our server was so lovely and welcoming. Me and my husband definitely plan on going here again for some of the live music when we get the time we have ordered take out in the past but the atmosphere was so pleasant we will choose to dine in from now on. I also need to get my hands on some of those burnt ends one of these days lol“
“UPDATE 2/27/24- After a few good experiences we brought some out-of-town guests. Several of the food items were cold or barely heated and had to be sent back. It was kind of embarrassing after telling our guests what a great place it is, disappointing....PREVIOUS REVIEW I expected tender, juicy, smokey, meat with a good bark from a barbecue restaurant. What I didn't expect was the surprise of smoked maple sugar granules in the oysters, a delicious fiddlehead relish with the coffee rubbed smoked pork belly, and the grilled pound cake, probably the best dessert I have had in years! Very attentive service as well. Wow!“
“I’ve enjoyed Tim’s for brisket tacos a few times while hanging out at Tideline. But! Did you know they cater? We used them for our office holiday party and enjoyed zesty brisket, savory bbq chicken and even a lovely lively shrimp scampi for the pescatarialy oriented within our party. Also! We could have easily created an entire meal out of just the sides: Mashed potato, sweet potato, mac & cheese, and a fabulously roasted Parmesan asparagus with all garnishes and fixin’s available to boot. It was like a second thanksgiving! Everyone raved. The planning process was easy and transparent and in meal service highly attentive. My biggest regret was not having enough capacity to eat literally every dish available. Thanks guys!“
“My only real critique is that the steaks tend to be cut a little thinner than at competition's strak houses. My medium rare steak was more on the rare side which to me is more acceptable than less rare.
