“We travel to Glenn twice a year. Once in the summer for camping and one in November. Every trip up, I look forward to stopping into Vintage Baking Company for their amazing croissants, tasty coffee, and delicious pastries/breads/pizzas. I haven’t found a bakery in CT near me yet that even comes close to how amazing this place is. I just saw the email about them closing down and my heart is broken. Looks like I’ll be up in November to get my last fix. I truly hope they find a perfect new space and open back up. If you’re in the area… definitely stop in!”

“Pure Magic. visiting from Florida and was dragged into this little gem. decor is very cool. a "Wizard of Oz" theme and cupcakes that would make the wicked witch chuckle in delight... bought 2, then bought two more the next day and had to bring a few home with me... the Turkey Club was MASSIVE... hint for families.. its sharable.”

“As a celiac of 28 years this place is a dream come true. The owner and her staff are the most lovely people. They always accommodate my needs and never make me feel like a burden. Every single thing I’ve ever eaten or drank here is mind blowing-ly delicious! The biscuit breakfast sandwich is some sort of magical epiphany. You would NEVER know that it’s vegan! I am not vegan, but that biscuit with the vegan eggs and sausage are not just good enough they are top notch culinary excellence. I drive over an hour and a half, one way to get a taste of these culinary delights! Don’t just eat here because you have to, eat here because you should!!”

We spent 4 nights in the area and White Mountain Cider Co was by far the best food we had. This is what food is supposed to taste like.”

“This is one of my favorite places to eat in North Conway. I have in fact taken the two hour drive because I was craving some Irish in my day. It is just beyond the Center which for me is the gateway to where the unknown adventure is about to begin.

This isn't just about the ambiance, which includes every inch of the place thematically detailed with cultural icons, a good fiddle, and arguably one of the best views of Cathedral Ledge, it's the pride. The moment you walk through the door you are almost guaranteed to be greeted by the owner. I haven't ever held a conversation with her but, she always greets you with the warmest welcome and sees you off with gratitude.

Now to what got ya there in the first place, the food.... This is where the warmth, pride and love really hit you in the gut. The only place I like a pastrami from, the greatest place to fill with a hearty Shepard's Pie. The potatoes, meat, fish and chips are what your soul was craving. The leftovers are abundant and never tossed out. This is where you go to recover from the trail or prepare for the shopping.”

Everyone commented on how amazing they all were. We were so lucky to find Cafe Italia and Lory - who was amazing to work with and so kind - and what a talented baker!! “Good food. Great ambience. Nice staff. Warm vibe. We had dinner Friday night, 9-26-25. Our poor waiter, nice fellow. He had a table of 10. At the end they gave him 5 credit cards. After he split the check, they argued for 5 separate checks. Absolutely selfish group of people. Would not leave the waiter alone and each argued about their check. Totally rude people who couldn't read the room or that it was peak dinner time. Our dinner was excellent and we left our waiter a nice tip cause I believe he handled that situation better than most would have.”

It was so charming we ended up staying for a warm piece of apple pie and three different people that work there were so friendly and kind to us.
