“We dined here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have not been here in some time. The experience did NOT disappoint.
From the moment we arrived, we were promptly greeted, wished a happy anniversary & seated.
They have a nice wine list to choose from. We shared truffle parmesan fries to start. For entrees, we chose the cauliflower puttanesca, which was amazing. Beautifully plated, with vibrant flavors that made this shine. We also chose the braised shortrib, which was accompanied by creamy parmesan potato gnocchi. This was equally delicious.
What really set this dining experience apart was the service. Taking note that we were there to celebrate a special occasion, acknowledging it by the host, server, and then the manager was an extra special touch. We were given a complimentary dessert ( a decadent chocolate cake) that was served/plated with a message of happy anniversary wishes. Nice touch, Pine! ;)
We could have chosen to celebrate at a variety of restaurants in the area, but we were both very satisfied that we ended here for the beautiful surroundings, delicious food & attention to detail/service we received.
We will be returning for sure.“

“I visited Lou’s Restaurant & Bakery that morning in Hanover, and it lived up to its reputation! I ordered a blueberry pancake and a cup of coffee, and it was incredibly authentic, with fluffy, fruity flavors. The atmosphere was retro and had a small-town feel. The wait staff was incredibly friendly, making it feel like dining at an old friend’s house.“

“My dear friend stopped in today and surprised me with your tres leches cake (one of my favorite desserts!) It was delicious! One of the best cakes I have I have ever had! It was packaged perfectly and it made the 2 hour trip back! I can’t wait to visit your shop in person! 🤗“

“Last night we went to Jesses o celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! I had called for some special accommodations I wanted. They did a fabulous job with our booth (which I requested for privacy and low noise level. It was a perfect booth! I had requested champaign be on the table in ice and chilled glasses. Candles were another request. The table was perfect and beautiful. Very romantic! My Huband's gift was delivered to the restaurant. It was sitting on the shelf behind the table. Perfect! The Managers and staff were excellent! A shout out to Tiffany and Abbey(manager). So very pleasant and accommodating. We have never had such excellent service. We have to many 4/5 star restaurants in our 50 years together (actually 52 if you count our courtship) LOL! So, congratulations on a job well done. Everyone (seemed to know about it) Even other patrons came by our table and congratulated us! e were truly made to feel special. I highly recommend Jesses for celebrations, or just a fabulous meal. They usually have live music in the bar area on the weekend nights. Which is where we usually sit for the comradery. . Always someone interesting to strike up a conversation with, sitting right next to you. Jesses is the place to be!“

“We had some of the best food here for our anniversary dinner! My husband tried the Lamb Achar and loved it, especially because it was new to him. I went with the chicken korma and it was very tasty.
The ordering system is a little strange because you scan a QR code to see the menu and order, but it worked well.“

“Doordashed a burrito from here. The original sized is huge, wanted to take a nap afterwards. So many options to add to it. The flavor is bold and right up front. You can instantly tell that it is all fresh and not frozen. Will definitely be ordering again when I get a craving. Highly recommend you check it out.“

“Hello there! Ben here, these are the droids you are looking for :Edamami, Gyoza, Agedashi, Kimchi cucumber, cabbage house special! Miso soup!!!! Seaweed salad, YakiSoba, Udon, Katsu!!!! Bulgoki, pork Bulgoki cus it’s spicy yum yum, Kalbi, MapaTofu! I’m gonna be straight with you no one can buy my word or my tongue. I’m a marine stationed in Okinawa for 2 years got the taste for this stuff so you really wanna spoil your taste buds get these too! Unagi Donburi, Hanover roll, Dartmouth roll, Tuck Circle slaps sooo HARD BRAHHH! Green monster roll, Karate, Dragon & Caterpillar roll are all slappy dappy! Also any sushi with Unagi is gonna be peak flavortown! If your passionate about food, flavor then highly recommend 10/10 come to Yama (Young’s) Restaurant for the most authentic Korean & Japanese food in the Upper Valley & probably all of New England! “OK – nobody’s probably going to believe this, but I am from Atlanta Georgia and was visiting Quechee with a few friends – I’ve been there before, but never been to the Skinny Pancake. I went in to get a latte to go and my friend just about crashed the car when I yelled “Oh my God” while drinking it in her passenger seat. She said, “what’s wrong?” and I said “nothing‘s wrong, everything’s right – this is the best latte I have had in years!!” And too bad we were on our way out of town! “Can tires has always been our go to for fettuccine Alfredo. Tonight was no different. After a long week I placed an order at 7:30 not realizing they close at 8pm. I arrived at 8:15 and the place had a small line and atleast 3 tables full. The staff was incredibly hard working and wonderful. As a person who has worked retail I HATE making people stay past closing time. I usually don’t order so I feel bad that I did this. But you would never know it’s past closing, the staff was working their butts off, still pleasant, acting like it was still another hour until closing not already past it. Truly hard working staff and since the ownership change it only seems to get better. Sorry to the staff I helped make late to go home but truly impressed with your dedication and general pleasantness.“

We stopped just after 3. The cafe closes at 4. What they don’t tell you, or remove from the menu board is they stop serving soup at 3 (doesn’t seem logical) and if they are out of something.

I had a ham sandwich- it was good. The bread is challenging when cold.
Broccoli slaw- good flavor but dry!
Cajun Shrimp sandwich- hubs really liked it.
Croissant was one of my favorites.
Chocolate chip cookie was bomb!
Citrus honey cookie was good
Chocolate cupcake- great frosting.
Vanilla cupcake- snoozefest and dry.

The shop on the side is great too!

One of the ONLY places in the Upper Valley that we know we will get fresh, yummy and specifically what we ordered to a T - food!!! Service is always awesome, fast, helpful, ect.
