“We were staying nearby for an event so we ended up getting food there a couple of times. The staff was very friendly and the menu has lots of things to choose from. “The food is always pretty consistent, but unfortunately the prices charged are not. We order from here pretty often & order the same 2 sandwiches but the prices are different almost every time. Example, tonight the total was $ 18.32, the last time it was $19.43 & before that it was $ 18.87 & so on & so forth. If the order is always the same, the charge should be the same as well. I've been here in town for 40+ years, I remember when this location was called "The Pleasure House". Everyone there should be on the same page when it comes to ringing out a customer.“

No big deal, that's not unheard of in the restaurant industry, and I get it. But I also don't eat meat or poultry, and I didn't want to order an entire pizza to myself, so what to do? This is where the gentleman waiting on me went into what I like to call "helpful salesperson mode". And I know what you're thinking--am I buying a car or just trying to order food? No, I'm definitely not buying a car. I want to be clear on that. No cars were harmed during the writing of this post. Not even if it was a car made out of pizza and breadsticks, though that is a pretty cool idea and I think it needs to happen. So anyway, wasn't purchasing a car, and back to the "helpful salesperson" comment--the gentleman behind the counter mentioned that they had "fake chicken" and I could get a fake chicken sub if I wanted. Well I never had a chicken sub let alone one made from fake chicken, so I decided to try that. That was not a good idea, that was a GREAT idea! Absolute banger of a sub, and I can't wait until I'm back in town so I can try the pizza next. ...but a car made out of pizza is also not off the table. Because life is short, and it's important to have goals, especially if they involve pizza.“

I’ve tried many places in southern New Hampshire and made Family Pizza at Maplewood Plaza our go to restaurant after the first visit. Great food, friendly staff, 100% accurate on orders. “I spent 25 years of my life in Nashua, and in the last 6 years have lived all over the US.
I've lived in NH, MA, TX, FL, WA, and MO.

And believe it or not, Nashua House STILL has the best spinach pizza I've ever had.
Nothing has come close!

If you don't like Spinach, this will convert you.
Would recommend ordering the spinach and throwing on pepperoni.

I try to grab a slice whenever I'm able to return home.
Had a midnight craving for the pizzas here.
