“With a mere four days’ notice, the owners of La Piñata agreed to host a memorial celebration to honor my mother who passed away. We had initially planned a cookout at the Surry Mountain Recreational Area, but we were told less than a week beforehand that our reservation was cancelled due to flooding. Stuff happens though, and we will be forever grateful to Phillipe and Augustine for saving the day and doing an absolutely STELLAR job of keeping the food and libations flowing. Thank you. So much. ❤️”

“I’ve had the steak and cheese multiple times, very good. I’ve also ordered the haddock dinner plate and it was so delicious. I like fried haddock and I love steak and cheese and I’ve always felt welcomed and appreciated when I pick up my order or when I have dined in. Great people and great food. I love small businesses, they often serve much better food, more fresh, and a cleaner atmosphere, than any corporate/chain restaurant. Definitely worth checking out.”

“Athens Pizza is great! Ordered at the counter, had a few beers and had the pie in under 15 min. Sauce and toppings are on point. The crust is a perfect thin and crispy, with a hefty crust. I highly recommend this Athens.”

“As many of you may know multiple subways in my area were shut down after failing food and health inspection. Multiple locations close their doors for good. Don't let this shy you away from other subways. This was my first time ordering from this Subway location. The online process was extremely simple, with clear and easy to follow options. Check out was secure. Upon arrival the subway front was large and upon entering I was pleasantly surprised at how large inside Subway was. This location is immaculately clean. I'm going to go so far as to say this subway is cleaner than any restaurant I've eaten at in the last 10 years. I was taking care of by a very lovely young man. The meat cheese and vegetables all looked very fresh along with the area to make our subs. The seating area is very large huge picture windows to look out. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing I highly recommend a sit in lunch here. What I was surprised about was when the employee explained to me when you order online You do not then need to come to Subway and stand in line to pick it up. There was a designated area where all online orders are placed your name is on your bag You then turn around and you pick out your own bag of chips and your own drink if you had chosen those sides to go with your sandwich. Ordering online I also learned that there is a special every day of the week. They are exceptional specials at $6.99 I purchased a 6-in sub with a bag of chips and a drink. I will definitely become a frequent flyer at this subway location.”

“This was a pleasant experience. The drive thru line was long due to the high demand in the morning. I went inside and got a couple of delicious donuts. The staff here were very friendly and professional. I am looking forward to going back again soon!”

“We went tonight and couldn’t find the shamrock shake on the kiosk. Dom went out of his way to help us. He was kind, helpful, and even took time to talk to our kids and give them stickers. Every time we go in this young man has the best attitude and always ready to help.”

“Can't say enough good things about this place. It's in an unprepossessing plaza off the center of town, which makes parking easy and abundant. Food and drinks were uniformly great in addition to being creative and well-presented. To top it off, we had a waiter who we all loved. He was friendly, engaging, helpful, warm, authentic. “You will be in for a nice meal! Anywhere from pub food to gorgeous salads to salmon and so much more. You will be treated with attentiveness and caring. The building inside and out is comfy and charming also hosting a local artist. You know what they say about integrity? I witnessed someone from the restaurant helping a lady out with a walker, put her leftovers in the passenger seat, helped her transfer to her vehicle and fold up her walker and put it in her vehicle. Later found out it was the owner. Integrity… doing what is right even tho no one is watching! (I noticed bc I wondered why she wasn’t getting in) ❤️”
