My wife and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE COMING HERE! We live 2 hours away and we make it an annual destination for breakfast or lunch when we're on our way to Jaffrey to visit a friend of ours. We've been to many diners over the years and the Hometown Diner doesn't disappoint! The staff was very friendly and personable as we entered. I don't know where they get their bacon but it is amazing, and it's cooked so perfectly. When I walked in and they were two women working and they were so cool and so nice. Why we sat there multiple people came in all of which they knew. Before the customer even comes in they start getting their order ready. It has multiple seating and of course the famous diner counter seats. It's kind of big it looks small but it's not it's huge, there's plenty of parking. I definitely recommend...read full review

Typical Silk City Diner with standard counter and booth seating with additional table seating in the rear. Very limited but adequate breakfast and lunch menu which ensures your orders will leave the kitchen in record time. Excellent service, good prices and very good food. I didn't order from the breakfast menu but saw several items pass the table; it all appeared to be very creditable New England breakfast fare.
