“This sugar house is very close to the main strip in Lancaster, but you might miss it if you don't know it's there. I came to town for the eclipse, and this place was one of the highlights. The staff was very friendly, and while some local businesses were raising their prices to take advantage of the eclipse tourists, Fuller's not only kept their prices the same, but also offered samples of their different grades of maples syrup, two flavors of their infused maple syrup (the vanilla was incredible and had a whole vanilla bean pod in the bottle), their maple cream (I bought a jar), and their maple sugar candy (I bought some of that too). Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area. You can also order from them online.“
“First off I must say that you are the most welcoming people I've had the privilege of meeting. The food is awesome and I love the fact of ordering right at the register. And cleaning up after yourself is a great touch. My co worker and I brought our client to eat here. We came from Danforth Maine as a vacation for our client. Wheelchair fit perfectly inside and we had a nice view of town and the shops. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Our client even loved it..keep up the good work and my next time through I'll for sure be stopping in. ?“
“I came to town for the eclipse, and Polish Princess Bakery was one of the highlights of the trip. They aren't usually open on Mondays, but they opened special for all the eclipse tourists. I bought a chocolate croissant, a cinnamon roll, and a piece of broccoli & cheese "slab pie," which is basically quiche filling in puff pastry. The slab pie was nice and hot and very tasty. The croissant was probably one of the best chocolate croissants I have every had. I didn't get to the cinnamon roll until the following day, so I don't know what it would have been like when it was fresh, but it was still pretty good day-old. The only reason I'm giving the four stars instead of five is that they didn't have their baked goods labeled with names and prices, so if you wanted to know, you had to ask, which slowed everything down and also made me wonder whether they had raised their prices for the tourists. They had some eclipse merch with the price on the tag crossed out, which was not a good look for transparency in pricing. Still, I'd definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again.“
“The best mini cinnamon donuts! Located in close proximity to the line to visit the big guy. These donuts are made all day, served hot, with cinnamon sugar. They also have assorted beverages including hot apple cider in the winter. Next time you visit Santa ... stop by and get some donuts.“
