“The Laconia Village Bakery far surpassed our expectations in every way! From the initial contact and theme presented to them (pirates), we were not disappointed. They suggested the size based on my headcount and they were spot on. The cake was chocolate with a chocolate ganache filling and buttercream frosting- it was delicious! I gave them only my theme and I told them to make it fun. I was delighted when I picked it up; the birthday pirate and my guests were also ! Don’t hesitate to put your trust in this bakery, they rock!!“
“If my car broke down in another state, I would walk to 70 North for their croissants. The best I've had outside of Paris and, I believe, the first scratch made in Laconia. Beautiful bread made by bakers who know what that means. Absolutely try these marvels but please leave one or two for me. “
“Been meaning to check this place out for a year or so. So hard to get really good Donuts here in NH. I live in Littleton. Well stopped at 5:45 am on my way back from Manchester airport. Yes, This is the real deal! Some of the Best yeast raised Donuts. Dunkin only wishes it could make Donuts this Good. I grabbed an assortment and have yet to taste one that I didn't love. They will not disappoint you...I WILL BE BACK!!“
“While being there at the drive thru,We asked if they might have a menu, or pamphlet that we could take with us. The girl at the window, waiting on us,. had no clue what we were talking about?!So she went and got the manager.Who had NO idea what a PAMPHLET WAS!!!AND why we would even wantsuch a thing? AS if WE WERE THE IDIOTS! AS SHE TREATED the GIRL AT THE WINDOW, who was waiting on us,. LIKE SHE WAS DIRT!Parking: 3 out of roughly 10 visits,.My mustang was, backed into, other customers hit my car, with their door! AND they didn't seem to even have a care in the world!ALMOST as if it was my fault?!My fault,. that they parked so damn close to me. And side swiped, while waiting for the drive through.*We now only go at night. And only on occasion!“
“This was quite a surprise for us. We were not expecting much out of a small coffee house on the side of the road. It was very cute, the staff were so nice, the food was great and the allergy friendly options were a huge bonus! I would go again for sure.“
“We tried the Frenchie burger, chicken fingers & parmesan truffle fries. The burger was amazing! The burger was cooked exactly as we asked, medium-rare; the onions were cooked to perfection. The sauce was delicious & the gruyere cheese was melted & lovely. The parmesan truffle fries were good, not overwhelmed with truffle oil, or completely covered in parmesan. The fries themselves were good, although they could have been cooked a bit longer; but that's to our taste. The only disappointment was the chicken fingers; they were standard issue food service frozen breaded chicken strips. However, the honey mustard dressing was excellent.Overall, it was a good meal, and we look forward to returning again to try the other offerings on the menu.Parking: There's parking; but if you come at a high traffic time of the day, especially lunch, parking is tight.Wheelchair accessibility: Not ADA compliant, VERY old building.“
“We only have 1 member of our family who is gluten intolerant but I no longer make gluten items and just buy something for him. At our family gatherings/holiday parties, we ALL enjoy the delicious gluten free treats from GFDB. We have not been disappointed in any item we've tried and people are still raving about them from this most recent holiday season. They are available at multiple places (stores, farmers markets) as well as directly from their home. You will receive a warm greeting and quick delivery of your order without ever having to step out of your car! If you have any "yuck, gluten free" people in your life, slip them some GFDB treats and they will never know!“
“The people who work here are always nice, and they do a great job. I know from experience that working in fast food type environments can really destroy your will to live pretty quickly and efficiently, but the workers here always seem cool and upbeat. I hope they have fun.The variety of drink combinations is practically infinite, and they're always advertising some interesting seasonal flavor combo. The beyond breakfast sandwich is really great for being a prefab item that basically just gets heated up. I like it a lot with the hash browns and some hot sauce. I'm pretty forgiving and easy to please when it comes to food and beverages, though. I'd never turn my nose up at stuff that more "refined" palates probably wouldn't classify as food.Vegetarian options: The beyond breakfast sandwich is totally vegan and is very tasty. The hashbrowns are always a great side for the sandwich, too. They also have almond, oat, and coconut milks for any beverage that might have dairy milk, typically. They use Torani syrups to flavor their drinks, which are mostly vegan. Aroma Joe's website has all the ingredients and allergen info easily available if you're not sure of a specific item.“
“Very creative ice cream flavors! Ice cream is clearly homemade and of a higher quality than most. Tried the raspberry blonde ice cream and it was amazing. White chocolate ice cream base with raspberry swirl and chunk of blondie. I will be craving this now. We also go a few cookies to go.Service was quick and very friendly. The location is cool in a new building in Lakeport. We were the only ones there so we sat at the little bar (the only seating). In the summer it’ll be nice to grab some and walk across the street to the park on the lake.“
