“We worked with Denise on catering for our rehearsal, reception, and cocktail hors d'oeuvres. For the rehearsal, we did a welcome barbecue with a few options for mains and side, plus apple pie for dessert. For the reception, we did a family style meal with salad and rolls, roast pork loin, butternut squash ravioli, and four vegetable dishes for the sides. We had a few vegan attendees, who Denise was able to make a separate main dish for as well. All of the food turned out delicious, and the only complaint we heard from guests was that fitting everything they wanted on their plates was a challenge. From a logistics standpoint, Denise’s experience and knowledge was wonderful. She was able to help us with everything from the logistics of serving to helping us figure out how to serve the items we wanted without overspending. On the day of, her staff made certain that we had a small platter of hors d’oeuvres set aside and had plated dinner as soon as we sat down. We can whole-heartedly recommend Charcoal Charlie’s Kitchen for delicious food and low-stress planning.“
