“My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon during the fall color season of New England (2021) and we loved it. Nothing but good things to say about both the property and the owners who went above and beyond. Definitely want to go back there one day.“

“An all-around wonderful dining experience at The Oak Room NH in New London, NH for my guys Birthday, from the kind greetings from Sam when we arrived to the absolute super attentive service from our waitress Emily, couldn't be any happier. Started with some warm foccacia and a charcuterie board. For the entree, we shared the bone in pork chop with truffle mashed, mushrooms, and caramelized parsnips. Everything was flavored, perfect, and the pork was cooked perfectly. We will absolutely visit again in the future for any of our special occasions.“
“Grounds are kept immaculately. Good is great too. If you aren’t a member and are looking to eat there be sure to call ahead. They have a lot of private member only events which interfere with general public walk ins. I guess that should be expected since it is a members only country club“

“Had Sunday Brunch here yesterday- soft opening so not many diners but what a meal! Highly recommend the French toast! Service was leisurely but staff attentive. Chef came by to ask how we liked the meal. Holiday decorations were very nice as well. Plan to go back - believe brunch will be Sunday only through the winter.“

“The Millstone is a restaurant which has the earmarks of a fine Boston or NYCity restaurant! And right here in the heart of New London, NH. Years ago, it was the Players Tavern. And to this day, it continues to be a special place!“

“It's great food. But listen...for 3.29 cents per cup of coffee you can probably afford to give people a TO GO cup with some coffee in it when they leave. If someone burns themselves trying to pour their leftover coffee into a TO GO cup that could be a real nightmare. Don't be so cheap.“
