“The very sweet bearded man had the kindest, funniest personality while my older mom and I were figuring out what to eat. We split the apple, bacon and onion sandwiche and had a cup of the curry carrot soup each. It was absolutely perfect for us. We roamed around the bookstore after and we just kept talking about that sandwich all day. My only note is that coconut cream would've been awesome in the soup“
“Such a lovely spot in down town pboro, the music is serene tai tunes, and the staff is so sweet and kind and patient, and the food is delicious with perfect servings and not greasy, it feels healthy and wholesome to eat! And they have boba which is the best part!“

“I have bought a lot of different things from the General Store, home made doughnuts, scones, muffins, all sorts of delicious sandwiches and they have never disappointed me! You have to try this place, it's so good! The staff and cooks their are so polite! The Harrisville General Store is a great reason to take a ride and enjoy the area.“
“I just happen to be coming in very late into their service, and rather than denying me, the entire staff excitedly welcomed me in with open arms. They were actively working on a new drink and asked if I wanted to try one, I was so excited that I ended up buying that plus something else! While I was enjoying their lovely new creations, the staff were all incredibly friendly and communicative. I'm not in the area often, but I will definitely make this a return trip should I find myself around again!“
“Several friends moved to the area and wouldn't shut up about this place. Just to placate them I went in....Honestly, probably the best breakfast I've ever eaten. No joke. Every item I ordered tasted fresh like it was home made. I love the eclectic menu. Lots of inspiration from Central America and North Africa. Where else could you order a burrito and shashuka!? The only gripe I have is the set up. As a brand new customer I had to navigate how to do things: coffee is self serve, bus your own dishes, not sure whether to pay/tip at the table or the register, etc. BUT the staff are super friendly and affable. All in all an outstanding meal with old school New England charm. I live an hour away and will be going more often.“
“We visited this diner with a party of four recently for Sunday breakfast. We were seated immediately. The waitress was very prompt, cordial, and took our order. She always kept our coffee cups filled. The food was fresh, cooked to order, and reasonable portions. Prices were standard for breakfast items. We highly recommend this diner for breakfast. Free and plentiful parking.“
