“Love this place and their chicken parm. We went there Saturday after the week from hell. Michelle A had no idea who we were, and had no idea what a bad week we had and still provided us the best service I could have asked for. She knew her job and she knows people. She gave us the best experience at lunchtime anyone could have ever asked for. Knowing nothing about us and not knowing how rough we had it that week and STILL being so kind, patient, talkative and helpful is proof that she is a true asset. It’s not her behavior just because someone is having a rough time, it’s her every day. Thank you for being you and being so kind to us! Please show her this. She needs to know the impact she made!“

“We wanted Italian tonight and was pleased to find Cartellis North End right in Dover. Service was great. You can actually see the kitchen from anywhere you sit. Even though the place is small and noisy, the atmosphere was quaint and the food was delicious. I heard they give large portions, so we ended up each ordering appetizer and splitting an entree but still brought some home. Loved the spinach/artichoke dip. The chicken wings looked delicious but the penne vodka with shrimp dish was wonderful. Thanks for being so close to home and bedtime wishes to expand some day soon.“

“Update: Came back tonight to give this place another chance and it was totally worth it. The meatballs were delicious and big improvement on the lobster bisque and chicken. Our waitress Nadeen was wonderful, inviting and prompt. We will definitely be back.

Upon entering the restaraunt, the host greeted us and made us feel special when bringing us to our table. My husband and I ordered the calamari, meatballs, lobster bisque and carbonara with grilled chicken for dinner. The bread and oil that came out was delicious. We had received our calamari which was amazing and a sizable portion. Honestly our favorite part of the meal. After waiting for a while , our meals were about to be dropped off when it was found that it was the wrong items. Our waitress Gwen stopped over later on to check in and we inquired about our meatballs. She informed us she didn't hear us and offered to put them in. After the long wait for our entrees we skipped on this. Our entrees arrived and the grilled chicken was super dried out/ not very edible. The carbonara was pretty good. The lobster bisque was good but the lobster claw provided was extremely overcooked. For the service, the owner was very helpful, ensuring we had drinks, checked in with us and was charismatic. Gwen's check ins with our table were infrequent, inspersonable and it seemed she was not strongly knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Overall, the food was good, but our waitress needs some additional training. We would definitely return based on how the owner genuinely tried to make things right.“
