Usually I order all different drinks but I’ll always tell people to try a G’s Louise (house infused strawberry vodka and lemonade). We usually order queso to start and then I love the Corpus Crispy (fried chicken sandwich). Also their specials are top notch- not to be missed! This picture is a special fried green tomato sandwich.
Save room for dessert, they’re to die for.
They support local artists by featuring items on their walls for sale.

“We wanted to have our ice cream outside, but the granite benches near the little park just to the right of the store looked dirty and possibly sticky, and could use a good cleaning, so we ate inside instead. Truth be told, we don't know if those benches are part of the ice cream store's property, or responsibility, but having them cleaned would make for a better dining experience outside.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of things hanging on the walls to entertain kids in another whole wall of youth baseball teams that they have sponsored“

“I literally stumbled across this shop while visiting another food establishment nearby. I can't resist a place that offers cheese, so ai went in. I was delighted to find out that tasting samples is encouraged here! I bought many things, including a ham and gruyere sandwich, a cheese plate full of incredible cheeses, pate, terrine, and a few other things. I found the prices to be very reasonable and I was extremely appreciative of the lesson in French cuisine. I live a bit of a distance, but I know that I will likely make a few trips back here throughout the year, because this shop is one of a kind.“

“Battlegrounds is a cool little coffee shop right on the heart of downtown Haverhill. They have all sorts of fun coffee flavors and their own beans for sale. The baristas were very quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is a typical cozy coffee shop with couches and tables to choose from. We loved that we were able to sit on the couches by the window and watch it snowing while we drank our coffees (which were nothing too special, but were still good). We would come back here again if we were in the downtown Haverhill area.“

“If your kid is under 40 inches you get a kids size ice cream FREE. No $4 ice cream like other places where 1/2 ends up melting, 1/4 all over them and they only eat 1/4. Home made too. Delish!“

“A pal and I came here on a rainy day. Hadn't been in before and felt very welcomed at the bar. We were told they had a limited menu but everything we had was incredible. We were thoroughly entertain by the staff and regulars. Can't wait to go back.“

“I have gone here for breakfast food and coffee for like the past 7 years. I've eaten everything on the menu it's all great. The bohemian wrapsody is the best get that with bacon. And get a turtle late. You won't be disappointed. It's such a comfy place to sit down and talk with a friend. It's my favorite place to go to for food. Everyone in there is nice and friendly too I love everyone working there especially those that have been there for a while.

When we walked in we were greeted by Camilla who is the sweetest! She was making Pão de Quiejo and they were AMAZING. (even better than fogo de chao in my opinion)We both got the Cuban sandwich which was so yummy. The bread was toasted and the garlic sauce really made the sandwich. I also got the guava shake and it was delicious and my boyfriend got a coffee with condensed milk which he loved.This place deserves more recognition for the quality of food and service they provide. “A sweet little tasting room housed in a 3 car garage. Visited as part of the Jingle Bell tour and the small space was packed with people. Staff handled it well, the wines were tasty. Especially enjoyed the warm spiced wine. Bought a bottle of the mulling spices to take home. Cheers!“

“I’m a big fan of bubble tea. I love the Thai milk tea with bubbles. It tastes amazing. I keep going there very often. This is a clean and neat store. It can easily accommodate 25-30 people. Service time is quick, you should get your order within 5min. They are slightly pricey compared to other joints. Parking could be an issue. You will have to find a street parking, which could be challenging over the weekends. Staff is friendly.“

“Counter service and ease of ordering online is great, they have a coupon system if you make an account! Food is really great and I haven’t had a bad experience yet! My only criticism is that some of their sides and pizza toppings are a bit pricey. Some of the sides are also small portions despite cost. Their take away boxes trap in heat but create a lot of moisture so sometimes I get sad soggy fries in a box of condensation.

It’s not a deal breaker for me personally, but I felt it was important to note. Still 5 stars in my opinion.“

Stop and Shop, Bank of America are available.I don’t actually know a coffee I like here, but I give all 4 stars to the vanilla chai latte w/ almond milk. By far my favorite drink, and dunkin is a <30 second walk across the street for food.

“Adorable diner serving classic American cuisine. My dad and I came for breakfast while roadtripping upstate and enjoyed the Spanish Omelette and Taco Omelette. Our server Karla kept our coffees hot and fresh, with a smile on her face that put smiles on ours!! It was fun to look at the memorabilia on display as well as the hometown atmosphere. Great experience and we’ll be back if ever we find ourselves in the area again.“

She was quick to reply to my inquiry initially and made a cake that was better than the sample pictures I sent her for design ideas. Everyone at the party remarked about the detail in the design and how delicious the actual cake was.
