“Two years ago I switched my allegiance from Haute Coffee in Concord, MA to Nibbana Cafe in Lowell. While the coffee at Haute is indeed very good (Counter Culture beans, not local), I find the staff there a bit impersonal. Seating is also quite limited. Nibbana has equally good coffee (if not better, which is really saying something), provided by Tiny Arms, a local roaster. There is plenty of seating and parking at their location at Western Avenue Studios. The coffee is generally light-to-medium roast and they offer an array of interesting, unusual coffee drinks (I only drink espresso, straight, so I can't comment on those). At the time of this review, they have been cranking out lots of new food items. The staff is extremely friendly, always offering a welcoming smile and an enthusiastic "Enjoy!" when I pick up my order. The owners truly live by what Buddhists call "right living". They are very community-focused, and it shows. If you haven't checked out Nibbana, you're really missing out on a special place.“

“Ma Cuisine was highly recommended to us by a friend - and our expectations were absolutely succeeded. Sean cooks and serves the BEST French cuisine, bringing cheeses and other goodies from his trips back here to Lowell. We got 2 homemade dinners, a cheese platter (his knowledge on these cheeses were fascinating and they were so very delicious!), homemade pesto, homemade truffle mustard, & a baguette! Sean was the most heartwarming person and was open in sharing his explorations and experiences - of which were beautiful! Sean’s place is full of pride and passion, this is a MUST visit if you’re in the area and we’ll absolutely be going back! <3“

“We ate lunch at Himalaya Curry House for the first time this afternoon. We highly recommend. The food was phenomenal-excellent Northern Indian cuisine. (I don’t like Southern Indian cuisine. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are very generous and we both went home with enough left over for another entire meal. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, basmati rice spiced with Cumin. My daughter had the Black Pepper chicken, same rice and we shared a side of Aloo Gobi cauliflower florets in a spicy, creamy sauce. There was complimentary chutneys (3 different flavors served with pita crackers. My patient’s family is from Northern India and the mom cooks exquisite Indian food. Fed me home made dinner every work night. That is how I was introduced to spectacular Northern Indian food , so I have a good palate for high quality. The atmosphere is average. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful assisting us with our choices. We will definitely go back again to try different entrees. The menu is extensive!“

“This place is the definition of a HIDDEN GEM. My boyfriend and I wanted to grab a quick bite after the gym and we came across El Bunker on Google. When we walked in we were greeted by Camilla who is the sweetest! She was making Pão de Quiejo and they were AMAZING. (even better than fogo de chao in my opinion)We both got the Cuban sandwich which was so yummy. The bread was toasted and the garlic sauce really made the sandwich. I also got the guava shake and it was delicious and my boyfriend got a coffee with condensed milk which he loved.This place deserves more recognition for the quality of food and service they provide. “I’m a big fan of bubble tea. I love the Thai milk tea with bubbles. It tastes amazing. I keep going there very often. This is a clean and neat store. It can easily accommodate 25-30 people. Service time is quick, you should get your order within 5min. They are slightly pricey compared to other joints. Parking could be an issue. You will have to find a street parking, which could be challenging over the weekends. Staff is friendly.“

Didn't want fries (although my wife got them with her excellent haddock plate and they were very good) However, I wanted onion rings and had to order them as an appetizer and there were just too many so most went to waste. Clean and bright atmosphere, friendly service as well.“

Parking: It is in a small square, leaving the main street, you enter and quickly find parking and even handicap parking.

Kid-friendliness: When you enter the restaurant they take you quickly to your table and if you have small children, they bring you a villa for children, you will have no problems at all“

“With a gluten allergy and soy intolerance I was hesitant to try a new (to me) place. Had dinner last night, what a gem! Extensive and interesting Gf menu. Separate gf fryer and they fry in canola. I've had ice-cream at many of New England's finest, and Bruster's is my all-time favorite. “Sometimes I forget to give kudos to places I frequent 😅. Here’s a super overdue review! This is a regular brunch spot for me whether I’m meeting up with girlfriends, work friends or being a plus one with my partner’s buddies. There’s lots of interesting choices for brunch on all ends of the spectrum from healthy avocado toast or protein packed breakfast burrito to fried chicken & fruity pebbles waffles. There are lots of drink options with a number of mocktail alternatives and staff has always been incredibly accommodating/willing to make a mocktail from recipe request. Cocktails and beer options are diverse, as well as, creative. My personal favorite cocktail is their espresso martinis as they put actual espresso from an espresso machine in there. Hope this review helps to convince others to make this a favorite spot - here’s to health, wealth & happiness!“
