Mike and his staff were able to accommodate our big party without a reservation and made sure our needs were met, despite being short staffed. The service was stellar and the food was amazing. Mike checked in with us numerous times throughout the night and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we could possibly need. “Stopped in for lunch, the place has amazing ambiance. We got the steak and cheese sub with sweet potato fries and a cheeseburger with French fries. Food was amazing. “Always a good time and friendly staff. Just remember it's an old venue. Don't be shocked when it gets really hot at a sold out show in the middle of summer. You can go stand outside in the smoking area and cool down. Don't make yourself overheat. Total rookie mistake. Go have fun“

“Sawbelly burger, get it!! It's as good as any burger at Tuckaway. In fact it is a Tuckaway burger! Great brewery with delicious food. Not all beers are great but you can sample them and find something suitable. Beer flights are $13 and the pours are generous.I love the ambiance and the coziness of the booths against the wall.They often have live music which, most recently, was quite awful. Fortunately, the volume was low enough on the restaurant side to make it bearable.I love the service and, in summer, they have a huge outdoor seating area that is dog friendly.“
“WOW! Why haven't I been to this remarkable BBQ spot till last week??!!! This is a no frills place and I like it. It's literally right off the highway with ample parking. I came here on Friday and there was a little wait but it wasn't that long, maybe 15 min. They also do not take any reservations which is good because they want your whole party there before seating you. Now lets get down to the food.. McRib- Was sooo good! Kind of like the Mcdonalds one but way better and of course with real meat and super fresh. The pickles went very well with the pork. Pork belly & chicken tacos- These bad boys were the highlight for me. The pork belly was cooked so well and went well with the pork. I literally killed both of those tacos in less than 5 min lol. Chicken salad- Was huge... nothing to really write about its just chicken and salad lol. Trust me guys, give this place a try and you'll love it.“
“Dined at Seaglass for first time to celebrate my daughter's birthday. There were six of us. I gave it 4 stars vs 3 based on atmosphere, views and experience. Restaurant was not full on Friday night so we sat by the window. Views of the ocean and waves even at night are amazing. Restaurant itself has a great vibe and nice lighting. Food and service were not as great. Good for an average restaurant but for a $500 bill, I'd expect a higher level of service and food quality. Service was somewhat slow and not as attentive as you'd expect, but server was friendly and doing her best. Our group had a range of entrees from lobster rolls to filet and baked haddock. Lobster rolls were excellent, as was the burger. Haddock was just OK and catch of the day was average. Entrees only come with 1-2 small sides, no salads. I'd visit again for the views of the ocean and recommend sticking with a more basic entree for the price.“

“First of all, what a cool spot! Santiago's is one the most cozy bars I've been to. I ordered a few of the tacos in different varieties and they were awesome. You can taste the freshness. Amazing flavor, cooked perfectly...had to save the spicy shrimp taco for my wife. She loved it. The Margarita was smooth and unique. They don't use sour mix and you can feel the difference. Just go there and you will be delighted too.“

Good. !!!We've been here maybe half a dozen times in as many years. Every time we're just blown away. The margaritas are refreshing & so flavorful (try the habanero margarita with cilantro - you're welcome ?). We tried the salsa flight this last time, no idea why we've never done that before but they were all SO FLAVORFUL, & we love their thick, salty chips. ?This last time I got a tofu taco, a masa fried shrimp taco, & a pescado taco (fried). The flavor combinations were incredible...!!! So unique, perfectly balanced, unlike anything I've ever had before, in the best possible way. [$6 each for such incredible tacos is ? worth it, IMHO. Totally competitive pricing. Regularly pay $5 per taco elsewhere & they're nowhere near as good, so $6 per taco here is perfectly reasonable.]Service has always been super friendly & fast. They're always up to giving recommendations & we're never disappointed!Really my only complaint is how tight the tables are. I know it's an old Friendly's but we really feel quite squished in the booths, even with our small children with us. Would be quite uncomfortable with two adult couples in one booth. This is nit-picky though, obviously it would be a huge undertaking & a massive expense to shut down & renovate, & really, the food is so gosh-darn good that I really don't care, it's not like it's gonna keep us from going back.Their chef was nominated for a James Beard award - I believe it! ?Cannot recommend highly enough! ?“
“Went to their new location right next to their old one . I had my parents 50th wedding anniversary there at the old one many years ago . Was a big success ! The new one which I was not aware had been changed over from the old location was absolutely fantastic. We went at 2 pm for an Easter reservation ! The food was absolutely wonderful ! The service was as good as the food ! We are on the second level ! The place is spotless ! Clean and new ! Our waitress was amazing ! She was right there from beginning to end making sure we had enough water and drinks were full etc ! The kitchen helpers who assisted with the food delivery were fantastic ! They helped the waitress out perfectly! It was very busy as it was Easter ! The food was ordered, muscles. Sushi, which is excellent ! And steak tips and apple filled raviolis and a had a Caesar with chicken tips ! Calamari my son had was excellent ! There was not one thing to complain about. All the other guests around us were getting great service and their food was served very quickly I noticed! The Host and Hostess at the front door greeted us promptly and on our leaving were greeted and thanked for coming. Al I will say is , we will be back ! The new roof top deck looks awesome! It overlooks Newburyport while also being private from onlookers walking below. ! The place gets 5 stars hands down ! Great job Black cow and all the workers on a busy Easter holiday ! Thank you !“

“We love Sunset Club! From the moment we first dined here back in November 2021, we knew it was the perfect place to hold our event. We've been to eat multiple times and love the atmosphere and food- the veggie burger is delicious (even though we're not vegetarian) and the empanadas are always a hit! Staff is always friendly and the atmosphere can't be beat. Our large wedding went off without a hitch- the staff was *incredible*, the food was wonderful, and Sunset Club was easy to work with. All of our guests complimented the food, drink, staff, and environment. Even a rainy day was incredibly fun! We love Sunset Club and will be back whenever we're in the area!“
