“Such a fun and whimsical little shop! We enjoyed our ice cream, and there were many topping and candy types to choose from! Sugar free items and gluten free are available, too. “I’m not sure which was better… the phenomenal smoothie I had - The Avery Special - or the superior customer service. My smoothie was the perfect balance of banana, peanut butter, and cacao nibs. I was thrilled to see so many options for me with several food intolerances. It is so apparent just how much love and hard work the co-owners put into their business. They were genuinely interested in my feedback on the smoothie and clearly care about a positive customer experience. While I waited for my smoothie, I had the loveliest conversation with Sophia, the young woman working the register. I enjoyed learning more about the menu and what some of her favorites are. I cannot wait to try more of the menu!“

“Hate to admit it, but today we made the mistake of ordering an açaí bowl and a pumpkin smoothie and forgetting to ask for gluten free granola. When we asked about it, the person at the counter immediately offered to remake the bowl, and then informed me that my smoothie also had gluten-granola and offered to remake it too. I work in food service and know that it can be super annoying when this happens, but all three of the employees happily remade our order, smiling and unbothered by the mistake. Usually i don’t do long experience reviews but they really deserve the recognition (wish i knew their names!). Thank you so much to them, from two gluten-intolerant people!“

“They had a backup of delivery orders when I went in, and handled it with such calm. I was particularly impressed when they mentioned they are all newer employees. I got the avocado and egg sandwich - my only complaint is that I wish it had more substance to it. More avocado, or bacon, or another egg. For $10, it doesn't feel quite worth it for an egg, two slices of bacon, and half an avocado.“

“If you like slushes then this place you have to visit. When I stay at the beach I go to the slush factory at least twice a day while I’m there. U can fill your own cup with the flavors u like the most.“

The cook is a thoughtful soul and helped me out for Thanksgiving for just my son and I. The cashier was equally nice and totally accommodating. “The new protein waffles are bomb!! There’s a full scoop of protein/21 grams in each order, yet it doesn’t have the weird protein powder taste. My favorite is the kind with blueberry lemon compote. The coffee is also really good. My son got an everything bagel with a smoothie, perfect combo. Makes it even better to be able to enjoy outside in the sun at one of the picnic tables. “The journey this little store has been through has been so cool to watch! I don’t get the chance to go often, but every time I do go in there I notice something new. When it first opened, they pretty much just served drinks. Now they’ve got merchandise like ramen, stuffed animals, stickers, and more! I love what it’s turning into, keep it up!!“
